Value for money, ideal location for Dublin City visit.Staff friendly & helpful, any problem or request was dealt with straight away.Tea,coffee & biscuits were always available on demand.
Heating in our room (no.19) was a little on the cool side, the radiators did get hot eventually.Having said that,it was November and the weather was really cold.
Lack of heating in rooms and bar, only put on at 6.00pm
Location-proximity to OConnell Street, ideal for shopping on the Northside. Long walk to the South side where most pubs and clubs are.
The shared bathrooms were really a turn off. They were very old and also freezing cold. I didn't attempt a shower so was glad to be there only one night. Also the bathrooms were located two floors down from my room.
Good location, very near to the city with walk distance, easy to find. Breakfast included the price ( a delicate breakfast with several variations)
i booked the hotel mainly because it got good score, and the location and price sound good. but i was totally surprised when i was in the hotel. to be honest it was the worst hotel i ve even stayed. it called "2 star hotel".but is even worse than a lot youth hostel. thinking about price i ve paid less in paris, barcelona etc for much better conditions. at least all hotels i could have a shower. in this hotel i could not even wash my hands properly - u must save water in the wash basin to wash! - if you think it`s normal then try otherwise u will disappointed definately. advantage for your trip is that you will be active outside since you dont want to go back. i paid 2 nights but i 1 night i stayed in some other hotel.
Room was fantastic- very comfortable and modern. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.
The directions to the hotel were a little confusing and I wandered around for a while.
The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, they made our stay easy.
The breakfast was poor
The Irish welcome and the hotel's proximity to the city centre
Hotel Staff
No independent room heating Small double bed with extra single bed instead of larger double bed as we would have expected
Very friendly and helpful staff; good location
