Easy to get to from the airport, bus 747 takes you right to heuston station and then it's maybe a 5 min walk from there. A stone's throw from Phoenix park which is really nice to walk through and a ~20min walk from the Guinness storehouse and Killiam gaol jail.
Bed was a bit lacking. We got a double room and bed was quite a bit harder than what we were used to in North America.
I like the quite atmosphere of my room. The staff was very friendly. Requests were met promptly.
The reception area seemed to never be open. I only saw it open when I checked in and one evening that I came in from my day out. I think it make it very hard to check-in/out and to make requests. Due to the weather the room was very cold during my stay.
I enjoyed the friendly welcome and effficient service. The hotel was convenient for Heuston Station and the National Museum.
Cigarette smoke smell still in room although the hotel is non-smoking, although I don't know if the change is recent.
Everything was pretty much perfect! i nearly didn't book because of the bad reviews online but i'm so glad i did :) yes the decor is a little old fashioned but other than that what do people expect for the price?! if you're not spending much money then don't moan that it's not 5*! it's perfect to just dump your stuff, go and visit dublin, which by the way is what you're there for, and crash at the end of the day. i would definatly go back again. and i would highly recomend it to people who need the basics.
i can't complain about anything!

It was located next to Heuston train station, ideal for those traveling by train and it was very reasonably priced for those on tight budgets.
We stayed one night, and booked another hotel for the second night, with no refund.
Close to rail station.
Needs to be refitted, old broken furniture, uncomfortable beds which are not level - your child may roll out onto the floor, very poor sound insulation, one mini soap for family room, smells.....
Fairly good for its price- no parking facility even thou it said on website. They have only 2 spaces what were full .
