The hotel is not as grand as it could be and probably what it once was. Restaurant was only open for breakfast and it didn't open until 7 am. We were unable to eat at restaurant as we left hotel every day at 7 to meet our appointments. Bar was never open. The hot tub was not even hot and the bubbles didn't work. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bath was nice and clean. I have no confidence that the hotel was following their stated COVID cleaning policy. The coffee maker in my room was full of moldy water. I was also told that no smoking was allowed in their rooms but a strong smell of cigarette smoke invaded my room every night.

Cons (-) There was hair on the shower wall. I wasn’t able to take a shower and didn’t request to change rooms because I didn’t want to be inconvenienced And it wouldn’t have made a difference since the same cleaning crew was probably used for the other rooms

Pros (+) The location and staff were fantastic.
Cons (-) The hotel is undergoing renovations. My room did not have a proper bathroom door and the lights weren't always working. But since there were no other rooms available, we couldn't get another room. We decided to leave a day earlier than our reservation was for because it was just not very comfortable.
