The location, was stunning, although could have been sign posted better
The breakfast time needs to be extended to a little earlier. Also the the breakfast whilst nice, there was no room for flexibility, it was either you have this on the cooked or nothing, out of 4 or us who stayed none had the cooked breakfast as they could not accommodate our needs which were not complicated for example, I just wanted beans on toast with mushrooms, I couldn't have this as they didn't do beans. The breakfast was £12.50 so it was the dearest cereal I have had. I also had to go out and buy my 15 year old son a pair of trousers, as jeans were not acceptable in the restaurant, where I can understand that my son's jeans were smart and he was wearing a shirt not t shirt too, It was a little stuffy and the menu was disappointing
Looked to be very pleasant hotel and grounds, but my very short stay (late arrival and neccessarily early departure) means it's difficult to provide a fair review. Staff were friendly and helpful, even on arrival despite the late hour.
bathroom facilities a bit lacking- no shampoo/conditioner was a bit surprising.
We found the location excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. We would like to return in Springtime when the garden would be at its best. and possibly in Summer
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was top notch - dinner and breakfast. Extremely good value for money.
The hotel building and surrounding garden are very beautiful, old and atmospheric. As if you are in a bbc period drama. The food was very good. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was cosy, clean, the beds were comfortable. It was very quiet there.
It isn't walking distance from Falmouth. Although quite a short ride by car, but it would be impossible to stay there without a car. It may not necessarily be a bad point. It depends... There was a couple of spiders in our room, and the bath was leaking (I drew the bath curtain tight before taking shower, as it was advised in the notice, but the floor still became wet. (Room 2, if the administration is interested.) By the way we haven't mentioned it to them.
Good service given by all staff
Bed was a bit too hard for my liking
Quiet, friendly and relsxing. Very helpful in Reception. Enjoyable and good range of menu plus excellent service.
Although it was early season and only one other couple were guests the Hotel did have a pleasant atmosphere. landlord was friendly, staff were efficient, food was exceptional.
As a business traveller I had problems with signals for phone and internet connections.
