Okay 4.0
Pros: The garden setting & decor were nice
Cons: The room was cold when we arrived & most of the night. Small floor heater only. The heater in the bathroom did not work! We ran out of hot water mid shampoo.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very close to the airport. Helpful staff and nice, spacious rooms.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent choice.
Good 7.9
Pros: The convenient option of having dinner on property
Cons: They messed up with the bill and tried to overcharge
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff who were very helpful. Excellent and beautiful garden and pool. Clean room and bathroom. Good location close to the airport and they arranged transport for us. We would highly recommend spending an extra night here so you can relax and be close to th airport!
Cons: We had a very early flight but they weren't able to arrange any food, even something small.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staffs are so nice and helpful! Left my wallet in the hotel on the day of departure back to the UK, and the lady in the hotel took a taxi to send it back to me.
Good 7.5
Pros: It was good to have a pool when returning from excursions. It can be quite hot around Fez in summer. The pool and pool beds in a nice garden setting were actually the best feature of the hotel. Enough space for various people enjoying it at the same time. Quite acceptable dinners and drinks are served on the terasse. In general, quite a practical, once nicely desigend place for families wishing to do excursions to and around Fez.
Cons: Several room facilities/features looked like just being kept working for many years without much charme, taste or care. no bed lights for one of the beds (we had opted for a better bigger room). just one piece of soap for three...Our room was not tidied up during the day. Breakfast rather simple and standarized: bread, butter, jam, piece of cheap supermarket cheese, ... no eggs offered, neither the coffe nor the tea were really good, no fresh orange juice. Internet worked somtimes, on other occasions poorly. the place is only 14km from the centre of town but it takes easily 25-30min by car...
Excellent 9.2
Cons: It was a 40minutes drive to the centre of Fez. Nice swimming pool !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place was so beautiful! After many long layovers and travel, I had the chance to escape with a glass of wine overlooking a pool and tons of gardens. The check in process was easy and my room was simple with everything I needed. Mohammad was very kind, had great conversation with me, and answered all my questions. Overall I HIGHLY recommend for a stay in Fez! I had just come from the Medina in Marrakech and this was a wonderful escape from the business of a city.
Excellent 8.8

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Peaceful and nicely decorated riad, food was good, staff are very helpful and nice . Would definitely recommend
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice rooms, traditional design. Family hotel
Cons: A lot of noise to the rooom from the the hallway. The wifi could be better
Good 7.0
Pros: Wondeful traditional internal architecture which takes your breath away. Lovely owner in Haji - really lovely man.
Cons: Outside, very little garden space, over priced property.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Room heating was good. Bathrobes provided.
Cons: Internet didn't work at all. Didn't have any tour program. Can't communicate with the staff in English.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great stay. Great house and pretty convenient location; warm welcome from the owner who is the soul of the house. Location is not too far from the medina by car or petit taxi, quiet with 2/3 restaurants at walking distance. The house is stunning and you'll relax after a walk in the medina. I strongly recommend their guide; we had him for a full day and he's very knowledgeable, helpful and plans your visit à la carte, ie you only see what you want to see. Ask for him in advance when making your booking as he's quite in demand. Breakfast is extremely good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room, owner, staff and breakfast all were fantastic Will come back and highly recommend
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Great location. Very quiet. The noise of the city outside was barely audible. The garden and pool areas were also very nice and well kept.
Cons: We had a very early flight the day we left so we missed breakfast on the last day.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Beautiful property, full of traditional ornate decor. Host and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Secure garage parking for our motorcycles. We had supper there on our second night - make sure you’re hungry as there’s plenty and you’ll want to eat it all!
Cons: It’s a little bit of a walk to the tourist sites. We walked to the medina via the Jewish area and palace, took around an hour with stops for photos etc. Got a petit taxi (red) back at a cost of 30Dh about £2.50!

Excellent 9.0
Pros: This hotel is perfectly located in Fez and you don’t even need a car. There’s tons of cafes, and restaurants available by foot. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are great and comfortable and the pool is also so nice! The staff were so welcoming as well.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: If you looking for a short break in Fes city then Marriott Jnan hotel is the ideal place to be with all modern facilities it offer in the heart of an old historic city like Fes !! Staff are remarkably polite and helpful.. The room towels are due for replacement with new stocks they are in a miserable wear and tare condition !! Pool is great specially with the heat of the high temperature of the July and August months ..
Cons: The room linen and towels are due to replacement!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Correct
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The rooms were clean, albeit slightly dilapidated. In addition, there were two employees, both named Najim, who were as helpful as possible under the circumstances and handled our complaints politely and empathetically.
Cons: The staff were often rude and unaccommodating. While they claim they can speak English, they speak at a very poor standard. We spent, in total, hours communicating basic words and requests like 'water' and 'toothbrushes' to them, and while our knowledge of French is poor, we tried using French words only to be corrected much later with a very trivial correction to pronunciation which should be gathered from the context. Room service is unhelpful and will leave you on hold without getting back to you with an issue you may have - the night concierge was particularly poor in his English and attitude. I demanded at one stage that I speak to his manager, for which he forwarded me to a number that did not pick up the phone. The hotel is dated, the restaurants do not offer food of any remarkable standard, and they are even unable to summon a taxi for you. Considering this is a five-star hotel, it is surprising that a resident has to stand out in the middle of the road hoping for a taxi to come by. We had to leave at 6:45am to return home and the concierge flatly told us they will not call a taxi for us, but would attempt to flag one down. After spending 10 minutes standing by an empty road, we sought an alternative. The location is not very good for sightseeing, as it is a fair distance from the Medina and, on top of the taxi issue, means you spend a considerable amount of time waiting for taxis and/or haggling with them for a good price. The water they provide is very minimal, only supplying one 250ml bottle of water per resident, and it feels like pulling teeth to get more water. It took several hours to get water sent up to the room. At breakfast, as well as running out of water to offer guests, the staff are also unhelpful and unable to speak English to help you with anything unless you speak French or Arabic. Also, it is quite far removed from a continental breakfast, as they claim.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I'd like to thank Mr Ali , Abdelattif y Fatima zohra .

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely large clean bedrooms, great showers and giant beds. Air con was superb. Super friendly staff and nothing it too much trouble. Simo was a great host.
Cons: Not really complaints but to make the stay even better we could have used a fridge in the room just to keep drinks and a few bits cold. Due to the location a car is a necessity.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The property is very calming
Cons: The location
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This is the fourth year we're coming back and we certainly will stay there again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you need peace out of the noisy Fes, this is the place to be. Very relaxing! Breakfast was delicious and the pool was just enough for us and the kids.
Cons: Nothing special
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The place is a very peaceful place to be away from the city and the noise of the cars but still you can find stores and such necessities close by around 10 min car drive and the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very spacious. Would definitely recommend. The road is a bit rocky to get there but it’s not that bad. The breakfast as well was delightful .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property was beautiful and new. We finished out our 8 day northern Morocco vacation here. It was a perfect ending to a busy trip. We stayed here 1 night before heading to the airport. It is an easy 15min taxi drive to the airport and it’s peaceful and quiet. The perfect place to relax. There is a beautiful pool which we did not enjoy because we stayed here the first part of March and it was too cold. If you are planning to go into Fes this is not the place for you. It is quite inconvenient from downtown. It was perfect for us as we had already done all our sight seeing and were looking for a place to unwind before our flight home. The food was good. They had a mix of Western and Moroccan dishes. My son enjoyed the spaghetti. It was a nice break after eating Moroccan food all week. The breakfast was good as well. The rooms were huge with all the western amenities. Overall we were very pleased.
Cons: It’s a bit far from town or any other restaurants. So we had to eat at the restaurant on site. It was good food, but a bit overpriced.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Avoid this hotel. Worst experience ever. This hotel is way over rated. We stayed in the room 16. The room was not even floored. It was raw cement. The light in the bathroom was broken, so it was literally dark in the bathroom and we had to use our cellphone flashlight. The location is so remote. We arrived at night. There was about 1 km with no street lamps. Nothing around the hotel. It’s in the middle of no where. We had to eat our dinner at the hotel. Food tastes terrible and very expensive.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were amazing! so helpful and very kind and caring despite not always speaking a common language, they aided us in our transport and always gave us a nice filling breakfast and plenty of smiles.
Cons: nothing we disliked
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Close to the center, nice patio, good breakfast. Kind staff.
Cons: One bad experience with restaurant in the afteernoon, the staff tries to deliver the best but we waited for food more than an hour. There was a strong naphthalene smell in one of our rooms.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The neighbourhood is quite relaxed, close to a park, and sometimes I was walking to the Medina (~4km) so in a good location. The breakfast was really nice, the hosts are really friendly and helpful, and smiling all the time, however with my limited french the communication was not always flawless. The room and the hotel itself was really nice and clean, the swimming pools were open even in January, good for a morning wake up in the ice cold water ;)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing staff were always ready to help with any needs I had - even though we couldn't speak a common language. it is experiences with people like the staff at Mimosa that make travel so enjoyable.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very nice and clean. Enjoyed the calm and the swimming pool. Thanks for your welcome!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hospitality was amazing the owner and his wife were very caring. It was a very clean environment. My family felt safe and happy-the pools were great!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great place, clean, very nice and big rooms, always helpful personell (2 ladies took really good care of us - Ilham and Fatiha)
Cons: Pretty away from the center,
Okay 4.2
Pros: 1. The two swimming pools are nice. 2. The breakfast is nice but the same everyday. I guess if the people are nice there you just like everything and vice verse.
Cons: 1. It could be a good stay but the last night we ordered some food in and ate in the garden. The lady-in-charge came to tell us that we were not supposed to eat there but since we were all set it was Ok. We confirmed with her if it was OK because it would be very simple and easy for us to pack and go back to eat in the room and she said yes. After we have finished she asked us to pay 100D saying because we were using their restaurant area. She could have told us before we started the dinner not after. Although in about half an hour's time she came to say that we didn't have to pay the money we still didn't feel very comfortable for our last night's sleep. 2. Very bad location if you dont have a car and nothing much is around. 3. On-site restaurant is very expensive. One tiny soup and one chicken tagine cost 250D. 4. The bathroom in our room is very tiny.

Pros: Breakfast and staff

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful place and amazing friendly hosts! Will be back for sure!
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff was friendly. Breakfest came fast time that we asked at morning
Cons: Building was bit cold
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were very helpful, we were served delicious breakfast and the location was good, albeit a bit difficult to find. Close to CTM bus station with connections to other cities. Overall would recommend.
Cons: There was an issue with hot water the first night we stayed, but it was fixed as soon as we let them know.
Good 7.5
Pros: Location and decor
Cons: Rooms were cold even with AC
Okay 4.0
Pros: Located in the middle of the new city of Fez. It was somehow calm inside.
Cons: We did not, indeed, like the hospitality of the staff, they have not even introduce themselves and you don't feel welcomed at all. And what is more worse is that they cheated us with the taxi to the airport because together with the taxi driver we were charged with double price as the normal tarif. I will never book Dar Aliane again.
Okay 5.0
Pros: 24h service. Had aircon and hairdryer.
Cons: Our room was next to reception and we could hear the phone ringing and all the people coming in and out. The area for breakfast was very cold. The staff told us overcharged prices for taxi and a bottle of water. The mattress was uncomfortable.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location Kindness and professionalism of Khadija and Imane : lovely girls and really helpful. Breakfast : very tasty Terrasse Private parking
Cons: Cold room as there is no direct sun that goes in No hot water until the morning after asking Imane to assit us : she fixed the issue really fast. Weak internet in the room

Pros: Check the rooms before, bathrooms, doors lights and if you booked a tripe room or 3 in a room like an additional child make sure it's a room with a proper bed or atleast one that works. They have their own car park so you can leave the car and wonder around the city. Give yourself enough time for the pool it's never too busy. They also provide blue towels for the poolside. You can't bring food from outside to the pool but you can in your room. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants opposite the hotel.

Pros: We loved the location it was very comfortable, breakfast had alot of choices French style but they had some soup (harrisa). We loved the pool and the outdoor seating area, there is a lifeguard for most the day. When I complained about some of the issues they very professionally re-booked me a room for free and offered me free breakfast for the whole family. All the rooms were easily accessible. There was also valet parking which was free. Great ambience would definitely go there again.
Cons: We didn't thst some of the rooms had maintenance issues eg broken door, balcony door doesn't shut, holes in towels and damp in the bathroom.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location of the hotel, price
Cons: Staff disk should have more patience, be clear and don’t rush to take payments before even use of days, flexible choices of rooms. Hotel wasn’t full, we asked for suite or 2nd floor but was clearly instructed to use the assigned room.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location and staff are the best parts.

Excellent 8.0
Cons: The swimming pool environment
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Cleaness
Cons: None
Okay 4.0
Pros: The staff is lovely
Cons: We were there 10 years ago and loved it. As we were going to Moulay Yacoub Spa, we decided to stay at the Royal Mirage Hotel. The hotel looks a little bit tired and desperately needs a revamp. The bathrooms were in a poorer state than I expected, including doors that were a noisy hassle. The gym wasn't equipped properly and the dumbbells were broken and dirty all around... not great during a pandemic. We do love the theme, and the staff were very helpful and kind.I really look forward to going back after an overdue refurbishment.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet , clean and closer to everything. Good customer service .
Cons: Great pool and super clean .
Poor 1.0
Pros: Unfriendly receptionists, the ac was broken, terrible bathroom, uncomfortable beds and it take so long to check in filling useless forms... bad experience.
Cons: Everything was bad
Okay 5.0
Pros: Good location
Cons: Probably the worst breakfast buffet I've ever had
Poor 1.0
Cons: Staff were not friendly and the hotel itself is old.
Poor 1.0
Pros: big room and parking
Cons: this hotel became like highway motel all families gather in the weekend there is no telephone in the room if you need anything you have to walk to the reception I have to change 3 rooms in the same day first room no AC 2nd room no Hot water 3rd room toilet is not working, the bathroom is very very old broken all over , the rooms is big but very old furniture. لا يصلح للعوائل الخليجية المحترمة
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Location
Cons: Price very high room service very bad 25 min wait for cup of hot water no WiFi rooms not cleaned
Good 7.1
Pros: It is a good hotel with fine facilities and reasonably well kept rooms. the pool is a plus.
Cons: Reception desk, employees are uneven in training, conduct, and professionalism. They should be trained to be more customer oriented and make sure that payment tally reflect an accurate accounting to avoid lengthy correction process.

Okay 4.0
Pros: The owner is amazing, he stayed up until 1:30 am for my arrival, then greeted my taxi at the drop off point in the medina to walk me to his place. Walked me out in the morning and showed me the correct bus to the CTM station,
Cons: Cold, bathroom smelled like sewage, no hot water in sink or shower, rather run down and shoddy. Way too expensive at 15€ a night for the conditions you stay in. More like 5€ a night,

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I like everything
Cons: Everything was very good
Poor 1.0
Pros: Location is good. There was only one person running the hotel, he is nice guy.
Cons: I really can't imagine how smelly was the room, but its dirty, smelly, water leaks in the bathroom, ac goes of and on, it was a cold night, yes its cheap but i will never stay there again
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very quiet at night, no traffic. SUPERB cafe in SUPERB park opposite. Taxi rank opposite. Nice and central, all useful facilities nearby.
Cons: No adequate Reading Lights in rooms.
Excellent 8.5
Grand Hotel, relative close to the train station if you arrive late into Fes. Extra Huge room with large super nice bathroom and terrace. Comfortable bed. Plenty of food options nearby. Nice staying in the city center a good view from your window!. They did not accept credit card. And It is quite noisy around the hotel during night. But they cant do nothing with it.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great friendly staff, they stayed late to check us in, and hailed a cab for us when we were leaving! Facilities were nice, a local Moroccan hotel so mostly locals not out of country people which is nice. Close to many quick food shops and a BIM grocery, overall a great place to stay on Fes!
Cons: All was good!
Okay 5.0
Pros: the room was fine and the staff were nice and helpful.
Cons: When I arrived, my room was not ready although I had already advised earlier on my arrtival time, one hour walk away later, it was still not ready. They could've really pushed check-in time to when it would've been ready and I would've checked in later.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: No Hot water for the shower that day, bad experience for me
Okay 4.0
Pros: Staff
Cons: Unstable wifi
Good 7.0
Pros: Design ..all
Cons: Nothing
Okay 4.0
Cons: The listing mentions the fitness center, unfortunately, there is no fitness center.
Okay 5.0
Pros: for the money- excellent hotel. The room was tidy and nice. Location quite convenient, a nice restaurant that the staff recommended us nearby.
Cons: There is a club in the hotel, so it was extremely loud every night (including Monday night). Also, in the room booklet, it states that the dinner is till 11, which we accounted for, while in fact, it was till 10. Room doors were locking, but problematically and looked unreliable. We forgot some important stuff in the hotel, but when asked to send it to the near city via post- were rejected as "it's hard to do".
Poor 1.0
Pros: The staff were friendly
Cons: Extremely noisy hotel- the bar plays very loud music till 1a.m, regardless of my many pleas to get it turned down Very little hot water in the bathroom Bathtub could not be filled as plug and fittings were broken T.V was broken but replaced by staff Just a horrible, nerve- wracking experience
Excellent 10.0
Pros: break fast night reception geron
Cons: nothing

Cons: Building is really very old Shower is not well fixed... You will have the water in 3m far... Breakfast is simple without many choices
Poor 1.0
Pros: Some friendly staff
Cons: Some staff where very rude. The bath tub was rusty, squeaky doors, no working AC, stuffy hallway and room, dirty bed covers, sub standard breakfast, old run down furniture, not working plumbing in bathroom, smokey rooms and restaurant.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Location is about 10 minutes away from the train station, which is good.
