We lived the hotel. Everyone we spoke to on this trip said it was unusually busy for the time of year, so a few of the amenities weren’t available but we had a great time at this property. It was super close to all the other attractions although I don’t know why you would leave the beach. Perfect for sunrises and I’m not sure that there is a bad view from any room. We stayed twice during this trip...

Pros (+) Location on the beach with free parking and wifi with no resort fee was great.
Cons (-) Staff was good just not many of them. Took 30 min to check-in. We were there 2 nights and there were no towels available first day. 2nd day they didnt even bother opening the towel hut. They text you and say reply if you have any questions before, during or after your stay and will will help you. Did that twice while there no response to either.

Pros (+) Construction is giving a needed facelift to a Ft Walton Beach landmark.
Cons (-) When I tried to check-in they didn't have my reserved and paid for king bed room. Then their response to my negative reviews brings their comment "not to book through a third party". The Jollygreen reunion has been held here 50 years, this was their final one. It would have been nice to see it end on a positive note.

Pros (+) The location and amenities of the hotel were great. The beach was beautiful, and the beds felt great.
Cons (-) I didn't get the room that I booked because they over sold the hotel. Also, the rooms were small, outdated, and needed thorough updating. The bathroom looked really dirty, ad the shower curtain wasn't clean. Also we discovered ants in our room.

Cons (-) Staff would not empty the trash cans in the room and the room was very cramped.
