Wife came down with coronavirus couldn't make trip charged me for the room
The location was excellent, and even had a grocery store across the street. the rooms were a different subject all together.
The room was on the back side of the hotel and it was like management ,maintenance, and housekeeping had abandoned the section. The floors had not been cleaned in so long that you could see feet tracks on the floor plus if your feet touched the floor they were instantly black from the multiple layers of dirt on them. The room didn't have a coffee maker like advertised . There was no place to hang any of our clothes. The bathroom floor has mold growing due to not being cleaned, and the tub would not drain. The elevators were barely hanging on with their last breath and even broke down for a day. As we walked through we could see that the rooms up front not only were nicer, they were clean, and had coffee makers and close rods to hang clothes on. Our room had a small table and one chair. All the rooms up front had two to three chairs in each room. The air conditioner was so loud that the television had to be turned all the way up just to hear over it.
Location. That’s it.
Not able to check in until hours after official check in time. Room was never cleaned. No coffee maker, no tissues, 1 single roll of toilet paper. Virtually no food available for so called free breakfast. I overheard multiple conversations from other guests with similar complaints. For a hotel boasting to be “100% Smoke Free” on signs posted everywhere, there was an unusual abundance of smoking going on, including by staff. Will not be staying here again.
There were multiple hotels nearby
Rude staff, baby roaches crawling everywhere in the room, they locked us out of the lobby 5mins after we checked in and refused to speak to us regarding the bugs
It was Okay
The price was good, but you get what you pay for.
I did not like that we only had one towel and phone was not working. Their was a stain I do not know if it was blood or something else. When I called the front desk, they did not sound as if they were worried about the problem, the next morning I went to the front desk and I asked for towels I still had to wait in my room to get my towels because she said that she needed to find some. The stay was okay, since we only needed to stay for the night and they need to be more aware since there rooms from ours to the north was propel smoking marijuana.
Heater didn't work, no hot water, wifi did not work well at all.
Across from ocean
Very dirty no towels at all anywhere nothing worked
bed bugs in my room!!!!!!
Not worth the pay!
They "upgraded" the rooms. Scary to see what it looked like before.
Cockroaches everywhere! Still felt like it slums! Ants in bathroom!
It was walking distance of everything we didnt have to worry about parking and getting sand in the car
There were cockroaches at night in the room just a few but they were on the bed yuck
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We arrived the morning of our check in day, knowing our room was probably not ready, but we checked anyway. The receptionist said the room was not ready at that time but that she would call us when it was ready. Less than two hours later, we got a call saying our room was good to move into. The location is great, on Seawall Blvd, next to a few restaurants, a gas station/convenient store with drinks and snacks, a bike rental place, and an ice cream store. Able to leave your car and walk around a bit or rent bikes. Only a mile or so from Pleasure Pier. The pool area is relaxing, it may look small on pictures but it is a good size for the hotel. Enough lounging chairs to sit in and free towels at the pool with a towel return, which was very convenient. The free breakfast was great, and even had a waffle maker, which my husband loved! Water pressure in the shower was good, sheets smelled and felt clean, safe in room.
My bath towel in the room had a few long hairs on it upon unfolding it, but smelled clean. No tissues, but I could have asked for some with no problem.
