Cons (-) It was very dirty this time. Sticky floors, dark long hair everywhere, extra dirty bed topper, and when we woke up the next morning there was a cockroach on the headboard. Incredibly disturbing. In the past this has been an excellent value for the stay but the cleaning staff had clearly left things in poor standing. Pros (+) While this is an older hotel it was perfect for a nights stay. We were stopping in Gatlinburg for a night and we just wanted a room close to the main street. The hotel was about a block from the restaurants and shops. It was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave which was all we really needed. The bed was ok and it was quiet. Would've preferred a room with a king bed but that wasn't available...
