I had requested parking near the hotel entrance since my husband has reduced mobility. The receptionist not only reserved this space but booked us into a room near the lift and opposite the breakfast room.

“I was a bit surprised as the swimming pool was closed due to Covid as the hotel had a picture in booking.com featured a swimming pool. These Covid days it might be a good idea to call to check with the hotel beforehand. The hotel features simple and ok rooms for a night to stop for a night to drive by Göttingen and have all kind of stores, MacDonald and KFC nearby and even two Casinos in walking distance from the hotel. Remember to dress properly and bring passport if you plan to go to the Casinos. The reception staff were serviceminded and helped me indicating where to get a usb charger for my car. I had a room change at arrival since the last customer had forgotten their key which lead to a bit of confusion while paying for the rooms as the rooms had different prices, but payment was the same price as as agreed on booking.com.”
