Very nice workers but the place is run down.
Pros. The only good part was Nate who worked the front desk. Otherwise this place is horrible. Do not stay here. The location is sketchy. The hotel is rundown and dirty. The other front desk person (an large old lady with white hair) is lazy & inept as can be. She made everyone wait until 3pm to check in saying no rooms were ready until then. I mean really? No rooms at 2:30pm but magically they’re all ready at 3pm? Lies. She was just too lazy to do her job. So the result of that is 10 groups of people waiting to check in at the same time all while trying to social distance while it’s also raining outside. You get the picture now? And poor Nate (the hardworking front desk guy) is running around like crazy trying to make everyone happy by getting us checked in quickly. The lady was even there at 3pm so I mentioned maybe she should help out and she said the other computer was not working which Nate replied was untrue & she still didn’t help out for another 15 minutes after that. She’s horrible! I’ll never go back to this hotel - ever!
Cons. Bathroom was dirty. Shower matt was damaged and filthy underneath. Elevator & hallways were filthy. Carpet was stained all over the place. Do not stay here if with your family. There were parties going all night until 2-3am in other rooms and noisy people in the hallways all night. When we finally got our room, we go in and there is one set of towels only. One. 🤔 There were many other hotels around. Go to one of them. This place is awful (except for Nate at the front desk; he’s great).
Pros. The staff was really nice.
Cons. Hallways smelled like smoke and weed despite it being a non-smoking hotel. The lock at the top of my door (clasp not deadbolt) did not work. When entering the bathroom, there were stains on the tile walls and the door handle was not properly attached. Bedroom had not been dusted and had a spider hanging from one of the lamps. Stains all over the hallway carpet, and inside the room carpet; also questionably on the duvet. Floor is VERY creaky and walls are paper thin, you can hear everything everywhere. I don’t usually leave reviews but this shocked me as the reviews for this place were reasonable when I read them before booking. Especially as a solo traveling female, I did not feel safe or comfortable.
