Placed next to the impressive 700 year-old Ripley Castle, The Boar's Head offers traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi as well as an on-site restaurant. The wine list is selected by Sir Thomas Ingilby of Ripley Castle, whilst the bar stocks local real ales. Beautiful rural scenery is on the doorstep, and is perfect for walking. The Inn has free parking, and is about 20 minutes’ drive from the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

“The suite we had was perfect, bed was comfortable, ensuite spot on, as was the small lounge. Couldn't fault the food in the restaurant it was exceptional and after dinner cheese board and drink in the snug was perfect. Lovely open fire and very attentive and friendly staff. Loved the Boars Head Hotel and the location next to Ripley Castle. Had a lovely walk around the area before afternoon coffee and hot chocolate in front of the fire.”
