This motel needs to be shut down
There was absolutely nothing I liked other than the location was close to my event
The staff was threatening, the staff was listening to cursing rap music when I checked in...there were roaches with wings, ants, and flies. There were burn holes in the comforter and blankets, the toilet overflowed. The furniture was disgustinf. You can hear everything in nearby rooms and heard people having sex to my left, to my right and above. There were prostitutes who woke me up at midnight banging on my door having the wrong room. You could tell there was something wrong with almost everyone staying there. There was such a darkness to this motel...it was lime a horror film brought to life.
Nothing good to say
I can't even believe you can book this place on a reputable website. This is not a hotel. It's a low income rental block. When you get up to the hotel half of it looks shutdown. When you get into the reception the paint is falling off the walls and the tiles are lifting. Behind the desk they have piles of hand written papers, unprofessional, no business cards or anything looking legit. When I tried to check in I was told by a loitering person I would have to wait 20 minutes for the receptionist to come back. I later saw him go into a room on my floor with a beer. On the way to our room we met all the "neighbours"..sketchy looking locals who live there..walking the dilapidated hallways in their pyjamas and nightgowns. The room is nothing like the photo. CIGARETTE holes in the sheets, cupboard door fell off, fridge leaked all over my food inside and had to throw it away. Don't start me on the washroom..run down with broken tiles and stains. The room smelled like smoke. The only good thing is that the AC and fan worked to circulate the air. There was noise half the night..yelling and cars in and out. I had trouble sleeping wondering if someone would break through my flimsy window. This is my brief description of a place I wouldn't describe as even one star.
