Room was comfortable
I booked a hotel room on 9/28 for a trip I was taking from 10/9 to 10/10. I was sent an email on 10/6 from reservations@res-Marriott.com stating that my reservation # 42601730 had been cancelled. The email did not come from Expedia or Kayak. After receiving the email, I called the reservation phone number listed in the email (1-800-325-3535) and inquired about my cancelled reservation. The woman I spoke with was also confused as to why the reservation would have been cancelled. She made me a new reservation, gave me Sheraton reinstated reservation # of 92195606 and told me the total cost of my room for 10/9-10/10 would be $89.09 plus taxes, making the final bill $104.24. There was confusion when I checked in on 10/9 but I have the front desk the confirmation number I was given by the woman mentors above and he was able to check me in. I checked my credit card statement and there was no credit made on my account after the cancellation 3 days prior to calling. I was charged $129.17 on 9/28. When I checked out on 10/10 the front desk man was trying to rush me out, talked over me when I asked for the rate I was being charged (I thought it should be the $104.24) and kept looking behind me at the next guest while I was trying to get some information. He kept telling me he was unable to give me information on an Expedia reservation, but Sheraton is who cancelled it in the first place. Based on his rude behavior, I will not return to this hotel. I understand I booked through Kayak/Expedia, but because my reservation was cancelled and I received an email from Sheraton (and called their 1-800#) I expected to be able to get some more clarification.
Hotel old, worn. Needs updating
Comfortable room with great beds and fabulous shower. Will definitely stay here again. Steps away from shopping, restaurants and movie theater.
My priority with picking a hotel is cleanliness, and this hotel delivered. It also has a great location, and it feels great to be able to walk to the mall and restaurants after being on the road all day.
That the wifi is not free.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel and room are very clean. The mall is connected to the hotel which is a very convenient bonus. We did order room service and the food was very good.
The exercise equipment is a little outdated and not functioning well. Several of the treadmills' computer panel would not respond. The breakfast was good not great, I would like a few more options but it was good with good fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereals, eggs, etc.
Room was great!!! Quiet and relaxing atmosphere!!! Love that this hotel is close to the Fashion Mall and many great restraunts!!!
Bed and pillows were comfortable.
$10 charge for WiFi. Room had only one serving of coffee.
Staff was very frindly and helpful, close to shopping and good food
we stayed 7 floors above the pool and the chlorine smell was very bad. And the pic. and wording did not go with our room.
