Hotel sorely in need or a renovation.
This hotel probably was awesome when it was first built. With traditional thai architecture.
It's old, dirty and run down. Everything is mediocre and I ended my stay early and checked into a nicer hotel for less money on the same street and closer to the beach and markets.

Wonderful staff, very clean and well kept resort.
Food and drinks were expensive for Thailand, but the town is a few minutes walk away for a cheaper night out with lots of variety.

The rooms were large and comfortable, although ours sometimes you could get a slight smell from the drains outside.
The staff looked bored most of the time and not interested apart from the bell boys and cleaners who were friendly. Parts of the Hotel very dated, with the general areas and poll area just concrete (no green gardens etc). Many things annoyed me about the Management of this Hotel.
