Pros: I really loved that we were in room 138, that was in a quiet corner, and very close to the ice machine, to keep our drinks cold. The staff can't do enough for you, and really are as accommodating as possible. Checking in and out was quick and painless! We really loved the fire pit that they light every night at 8PM, and the lounge chairs around the flowered gazebo. Really lovely time! We'll be back next year for sure!
Cons: The room was a bit smaller than what I was expecting, which made space very limited for luggage and shopping bags. We might need a bigger room next time!

Cons: The free wifi is a joke and was more problematic than useful. I ended up relying on my data plan to do most of my research. However, I was unable to get any work done - so if you plan to get any work done plan on alternate wifi capabilities. There should be a sign that says something like "Guests Resting" on the second floor. The balcony and the stairs vibrate a lot and any person walking heavily causes sleep disruption. Considering there were lot of people coming in late and getting up early, getting a good night's rest was challenging - especially when there were inconsiderate adults stomping through the hallways repeatedly.

Pros: The continental breakfast was great, my son Loved the fresh waffles. With the indoor and outdoor pool and the jacuzzi there was something for everyone. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. Location was great just off Rt9 and close to all the attractions. Also, when you stay in that hotel you get free parking at the Fort which is a huge bonus! The Fort is walking distance from the beach and village attractions.
Cons: The bathroom was rather small and the sink area was outside the bathroom with not much space on the counter. Beds were only double, not queens. But they were comfortable.

Pros: The Georgian is in a most convenient location in a great little town. It has become our first choice for lodging in the area. We are winter customers and choose to stay here and make the drive to Gore Mountain for skiing. We enjoy the people who work here. They are very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their customers. It is nice that they have even come to recognize us when we stroll frequently into the lobby for coffee. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable and have been tastefully updated. Very much worth staying at the Georgian.

Two bottles of water in the room but at a cost of five dollars, not exactly what I would consider hospitality. My room was on the first floor, just steps away from the front desk, right across the hall was administrative offices. While the hotel is nice, and the room was nicely appointed, I don't think I will stay there in the future.

The bottom floor was hollow wood construction and very load whenever someone was walking down the hall way. Rooms heard everything from the hallway side. Got a splinter from the old wood deck on the one side of the pool. Pool always ran out of towels each time I was there. AC didn’t get as cool as I would have liked and ran constantly. Looks like if you were able to cut down a few trees you’d have a view of the lake. I think would be a big selling point.

The showers are definitely not made for anyone over 6 feet. Only problem we had with cleanliness was we would often find towels and sheets that were still dirty after house keeping came. Lastly the beds were hard as a rock, both my fiance and I would wake up with some sort of back pain.

Cons: I didn't like that the room wasn't updated. The tv is not modern at all. For the price I paid I was expecting it to look a lot nicer. I felt like they over charge for a room that's not even worth it. I didn't sleep at all and was uncomfortable. The breakfast was alright. The breakfast room was hot and crowded. Cons: The part of the motel we stayed in was beyond dated and it was very apparent that the owners have done very little to improve the condition of the facility; the outside seating consisted of two small bright blue plastic slat tables & two sorely used chairs. My friend and I just looked at one another and simultaneously said, "Really???" Over all the interior was not dirty but it was very dated; the rug however looked like it needed a GOOD cleaning; the beds were surprisingly comfortable - which was a welcome surprise. My friend and I were in Lake George school shopping at the outlets for our grand children and due to our poor planning were unable to get a room elsewhere, consequently we ended up at the Travelodge. The location is prime; on top of a rise so there are excellent views. This motel seems to capture the overflow from the other motels and appeared to be well occupied; in light of this, I question why the owners have not reinvested in the property to make, ATLEAST, some aesthetic upgrades; it could be a nice place to stay, it's a shame...

Pros: The rooms were not overly expensive, especially considering this was a holiday weekend. If you desire a 5 star hotel and plan on staying indoors the whole time, you might want to check out another spot. However, we were outside most of the time, using the lake, watching the fireworks and sitting on the outdoor tables that sat up o a high hill overlooking magnificent Lake George. The room was adequately clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was absolutely lovely. Breakfast one morning was quite crowded but you could always eat outside or go back to your room if that disturbs you.The hotel was full but you didn't get the feeling you were in a tight crowd as rooms were soundproof and there was a nice amount of property to walk around. We actually had some good laughs with the staff who were friendly and upbeat the whole time. Take the family or just go with your significant other. You will enjoy yourself.

We got a non-smoking room and I didn't smell anything although my partner said there was a slight smell in the room, however nothing that bothered me and I have quite the nose for smells!!! At breakfast we all seemed to have difficulty with the toaster but , honestly, is that something that should ruin your day? Some people were pushy and verbalized their frustration over minor things at breakfast but that in no way reflects upon the facility or management........................and I say , Hey folks, relax, you are on vacation. Let the anger go!!!!! The pool was smaller than in the website photo but still adequate and clean.

Pros: Literally there was almost nothing. The woman who checked us in was pleasant enough but she also complained about other guests in front of me.

Pros: Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Sink was backed up, drained slowly. Fan in the bathroom shorted out and even the light didn't work when turning on the switch at one point. Banged the wall and the switch worked. Bugs in the room, due to large gaps under the door. The continental breakfast used to be great. Sausage, eggs and pancakes. Used to be in the larger cafe area but now it's just muffins, and toast in the main office. With a single table. Must be a staffing issue. Found an empty mountain dew ice bottle in the drawer. Very disappointing. I would came back for the staff, but nothing else.

Cons: Air-conditioner was loud. Bathroom was dirty. brown liquid on the floor. Worn out old linens on bed. The room with the continental breakfast was hot as a sauna.

Pros: Hotel employees are great but facilities, rooms and furniture are in bad shape. I would not recommend it to anyone.
