We were fortunate to have the spacious Mostyn suite with huge bed, separate sitting room and 2 bathrooms. It was real luxury. Food was good although quite expensive and everywhere was well maintained. We loved the spa and enjoyed massages and time in the good sized pool often having it to ourselves.
A small detail we would suggest for improved ambience in the dining room is to provide smoothing background music. This is because there were times when it wasn't very busy and the conversation level was so low that the silence was noticable.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The formal gardens and vegetable garden are a delight. The spa and swimming pool are a big plus point.
There are no tea making facilities in the room and wifi connection was slow.
Most hotels in Wales could learn from the service offered at Bodysgallen. I expected to bump into Miss Marple!
Best ever setting and views. Perfect maintainance, lovely staff and food.
Spa treatment too short. Booked 30 mins. Was in treatment room 18 minutes. Quality of massage very good but just too short for £30
Fascinating building, lovely site. Size of room. Fresh coffee brought to room before breakfast.
Tea making facilities in the room.
Very helpful staff. Very good quality and selection of food
Expensive for what it is
It was fantastic, a really good break, fantastic room/suite, excellent spa, a really good character hotel in excellent surroundings.
The food, whilst being very good, was very small portions.
The whole experience was idyllic. Food was excellent.
Location, setting, excellent staff.
Would like tea making facilities in the room.
