friendly staff. quiet, good location close to Tube station, traditional Latvian breakfast with meat, crunchy bread, cheese, eggs and organic yoghurts.
The room was very cold as the window was draughty. The receptionist switched on the radiator when I first arrived as she recognised it was cold, but the radiator only worked for about 10 minutes and it did not come back on even in the morning. There were no spare blankets to put on the bed so the night was cold

clean, good location near queensway metro station, is very good for shopping, very nice staff.
single room not en-suited.....anyway, if you want to save money, and just for shopping, that's fine~

willingness to help the guests but with scarce resources available (heating disrupted, bathroom out of service, etc).
this is not a price for value place for staying even if it closes to the center as the price for a room at the 3stars hotel at the opposite side of the street was even cheaper and more renewed. We already encountered problems at the check-in as the bathroom of the room booked was out of order (the only one room with bath in the house!). After barganing on the price we stayed but sharing common services and noises. Be aware that no room facilities or cleaning are provided unless you stay more than 4 days. The maintenance of the guest house is rather old and quite limited and recall a rather soviet atmosphere pre-indipendence for services and prices are not commensurate to the offer.

Opposite Hyde Park and 3 minutes’ walk from Queensway Underground Station, the 72QT provides cooked breakfasts and easy access to Central London. There is free WiFi throughout. The rooms are decorated in a cheerful, modern style and the shared showers and toilet rooms are just down the corridor. All rooms have a sink and a TV. The guest house has a club bar which is open on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar offers Latvian beers, spirits and snacks, and a traditional Latvian dinner is available on Friday nights. 72QT bed and breakfast is in the Bayswater area of London. Notting Hill is a 20-minute walk away. Hyde Park is less than 100 metres from the guest house, and Buckingham Palace and Westminster Cathedral are on the other side of the park.
