Clean and safe in a reasonably convenient location
The hotel is a five minute walk to tube and shopping. The price was relatively good for given its location.
The beds were not comfortable. The Continental breakfast was pretty meager. Fresh fruit and better quality pastries would have been nice.
great location , acceptable breakfast , good price
Staff not profesional , it took time to respond and take action to our problem in the room however the final they they helped and compensated for our problem.
The location was close to Oxford Circus so 10 minute walk to shops etc Room was spacious
Toilet is in its own room and has no wash basin so you have to leave the toilet and go into the bathroom to wash hands. Noise from outside due to building works/repairs to adjacent buildings
Arrived about 2 hours before official check in time, but staff was very welcoming and permitted me access to my room as soon as it was ready rather than waiting until check-in time. Also, the rooms are very large on the inside. Have stayed in many hotels in London on various trips even when I have paid more money for big hotels offering a variety of services, the room sizes were quite small and tending to border on uncomfortable. At the Astor Court Hotel, the room was large w/a clear sleeping area and different sitting area. Also, b/c of the long hallway the room had, the shower was away from both the sleeping and sitting area. Very spacious room!
One of the lamps in the sitting area did not work. I inquired with reception about having it fixed and despite it going in the log book, upon my return several hours later the lamp was not fixed.
Nothing at all
Train noise from the underground shower that was non existant lumpy bed
