The hotel was very basic. However was warm and reasonably comfortable. Great central location.
The hotel was very basic - a bit disappointing - even lacked a light shade. The room was very spartan and bare.
The rooms were cold and the barthroom not comfortable. But it doesn't matter for 2 or 3 days.
It was conveniently located, good value for money. The staff are all friendly, kind and polite.
It was very cold day, the room was cold at night, with one thin blanket provided was not enough to keep myself warm, I had to put jumper on during the night.
Had a conference to attend in central London.
Narrow stairs, old furnishings etc.
Accessibility to sites (museums, theatre etc) and Penn Club.
Excellent location with two great gardens at either end of the very clean street. The beds linens were very clean and towels were provided, with fresh ones provided on our second night. Basic accomodation in a safe and quiet hotel.
Our booking was made through a search on booking.com - we were looking for suitable accomodation for a family with a toddler and 6 yr old. We accepted the reccomendation for the room selection and requested a cot. When we arrived the hotel we were told that they didn't have cots. I asked why we weren't contacted and the booking accepted when it was clear that we needed a bed for our toddler. The staff were helpful and 'upgraded' us to a room with an 'en-suit', which we had to accept. The toilet facilities (shared) weren't great and the ensuite in our room was clean but tiny. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room but the staff gave us a tray when we asked and no breakfast was served at all.
Convenience. Low price.
Security was low. Front door was open and there was no staff around sometimes.
5 minutes from Holborn - Piccadilly line. A lot of places to eat on the near street. Everyday we had breakfast in different place. There is even a pub not far from hostel.
Frankly speaking this place is good just to sleep and run away in the morning. Can't say anything bad, but everything is very poor.
Very cheap, excellent location close to all the major attractions and stations.
Rooms were dated and very basic. Some were not in a good state of repair - window in one of our rooms would not close.
No breakfast, no cold water in the room
