It's ok. Good staff. Outdated rooms.
Bus stop right in front of hotel and proximity to brick lane and spitafields market.
The air conditioner was making a noise of water drops (kept me awake ) Stains on the carpet next to bed Very uncomfortable mattress (stiff and hard, felt like a box spring) and horrible unfluffy pillows.
Comfortable Hotel - Great sleep!
Nicely done up hotel, very comfortable rooms. Good reception and bar area. 8 mins form Hackney Central with bus stops in front of the hotel and short taxi ride to Shoreditch High St. The rooms are quiet no door slamming that we could hear and of an OK size. Wireless worked ok for me, just needed to check in into Facebook.
Area is a bit rough. It's more Hackney than Shoreditch. You don't want to be caught walking at night around there. Also we have a bit of an akward check in, not sure the person at receiption was ready for a same sex couple check in.
the staff were very helpful and able to give advice re transport etc when requested.
there was nothing we did not like.
Car Park. Friendly staff
Could not keep up with breakfast demand. Food was cold and not replenished quickly in some cases
Very helpful staff. Reception staff in particular were great and would not have been out of place at all at a much more prestigious hotel. The rooms, for a budget hotel, are well designed and thoughtfully laid out with good use of materials - much better than Holiday Inn Express (which is a comparable price) and I have stayed at the one just down the road from the Days Inn a few times. Complimentary newspaper is a nice touch and all the reception areas were very clean and well maintained.
Breakfast, though big and good variety, was not made of good quality materials (cheap sausages, eggs looked vile, tomatoes watery yet hard). I was there for two nights and basically had mushrooms on the second day (which were quite nice). Would be good if they introduced smoking rooms on a smoking floor/wing as they have at the Holiday Inn Express.
we where pleasantly surprised at the standard of the hotel it was a great stay with great breakfast friendly staff and a very comfortable bed! ive stayed in cebtral hotels ans they have been shabby and small but days inn shoreditch was very spacious and modern and the 55 bus stops outside and you are in oxford circus in 20 mins we will definatley be back and highly recommend it
Clean, 24 hour bar, very well situated for the city by bus or underground. Ideal for wlondon weekend stay , would stay there again.
Clean rooms, kind staff, 13 min walk to reach Bethnal Green Underground station. Buses heading to the center stop at the hotel.
Rooms could be larger, quite expensive food and internet.
Spotless and modern
Toilet didn't always want to stop flushing
Nice club sandwich for a tired person!
There seemed to be some doubt at reception as to how to check me in without my credit card (which I brought in later)Altogether, polite, but vague!
Unfortunately, there were some points to bring to your attention; 1. The bath towels were dirty and wet (not changed), 2. The bedside lamps became very hot, even the handle, which is dangerous
The hotel was very clean and the rooms were excellent. The price is great, and myself and all my colleagues will use this hotel for future visits to London.
My room had an interconnecting door, and although you can't legislate for inconsiderate guests, a lot of noise came through that door at night. Check-out was very slow. An iron and safe in every room would be nice. The whole process of borrowing an iron was very laborious (ask for an iron, add â£10 deposit to pre-authorised card, take iron and ironing board to room, bring it all back, get â£10 deposit removed from pre- authorised card...)
