Rooms small and bathroom had damaged shower door with dangerous sharp metal protruding. Bar advertised but closed during stay. For £180 it was ok value but after we booked they were advertising £500+ which would have been a ripoff.
Pros (+) Great location near Paddington Station and Hyde park. Beds were good size and staff was pretty accommodating
Cons (-) For the money the rooms were small. Seemed like they squeezed two large beds into a room that was meant for one. Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. It’s an old building so the walls are very thin. The people above us decided to have a party the night before we had an early flight. Pros (+) It was available last minute and was cheap (definitely got what I paid for), the exterior is gorgeous (looks much nicer outside), the location can't be beat - 5 minute walk to Paddington tube station. Staff very friendly
Cons (-) Broken/rusted side table lamps, stained/ripped sheets and towels, moldy grout in shower, walls paper thin (very loud), food choices were few and unappetizing.
Pros (+) We very much enjoyed our stay. Very close to Paddington station which made the trip from Heathrow very easy on the Heathrow express. They provide a "handy phone" a mobile phone for use during your stay. This was fantastic as we could call back to the USA for free! Additionally, it provided a local phone with internet access while we were away from Wi-Fi which made navigating the city very easy. Pr...

Cons (-) Noisy air conditioning unit (even when turned off), light from hallway was shining through door, ventilator noise from outside windows, green light from smoke detector.
Pros (+) I cannot accurately give input as they moved us to a different hotel and tried to charge us for breakfast even though it was supposed to be included. Felt scammed.
