Overview

Macon sits at the fall line of central Georgia, a city of Southern history and spring cherry blossoms on the Ocmulgee River. The Best Western Inn & Suites of Macon in Macon, Georgia, offers a comfortable, welcoming base with spacious rooms, plush bedding, and a warm sense of Southern hospitality. A complimentary breakfast starts out the morning. Dogs are welcome in designated guest rooms, so pet owners can keep their companions close. The hotel sits near Mercer University, Middle Georgia State, and Central Georgia Technical College, a trusted choice for campus visits and events at the Macon Centreplex downtown. Just across the Ocmulgee River, Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park preserves more than ten thousand years of Native American history, the ancestral homeland of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, with the continent's only reconstructed Earth Lodge and the towering Great Temple Mound. After a visit, the ancient mounds along the Ocmulgee are right there.
