It is always a great stay at Novotel. Splendid location, facilities, near the Metro and great stores, restaurants. Excellent value for the money. Always stay there when I am in Madrid. Highly recommended.

Pros (+) Individual members of staff were lovelies. The pool boy, bar staff and the night reception staff. It close to the shops and has good access to pretty much everywhere. On the surface it is very beautiful.

Arrived with a child and 4 pieces of luggage not one person greeted or helped us down the steps into the foyer although there were at least 6 bell boys standing there. Pros (+) The hotel is walking distance from parque el buen retiro, and has metro stops for two different lines and the airport shuttle within two blocks. The rooms are ample and clean, but my favorite feature of hotel was a handheld city guide (converted Google phone) that was programmed with suggestions for activities, and info about tourist attractions in city.
