Okay 5.0
Pros: location
Cons: there is spider on the bed. the bed is not comfort
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location great atmosphere kids loved it
Cons: Would have been nice if I was able to catch my sports teams on tv but not a deal breaker
Okay 5.0
Pros: Property was nicely kept and some of the other cabins were nice. Our friends had the Cottonwood and it was nice.
Cons: We came out for our wedding, the staff didn’t really seem to care that we needed 1 cabin early so we could get ready. I booked a cabin with a queen size bed because I was getting married and the cabin we were put in had 4 twin size beds. I tried calling the staff a dozen times, with no answer. Unfortunately we had to just stay in it because by the time we got back from getting married the general store was closed.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Amazing location, everything we needed in the cabin (lots to cook with!) and an adorable on site restaurant and bar!
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The cabin and resort are charming and well maintained. The area nearby is scenic and there are some nice hiking trails. It’s only 15 minutes from downtown Mammoth.
Cons: The beds and pillows were not comfortable.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The sceneries surrounding the resorts are breathtaking.
Cons: There isn't much to complain about, almost everything was pretty much up to expectation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous place.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved how easy it was to book this cabin. Never have I ever stayed at a cabin with so many amenities and one that was this clean. It was pretty shocking how great the cabin was for the price we paid for and it was in a very beautiful, convenient location. My friends and I loved this cabin so much that every time we come to mammoth, this is the place we will be staying at from now on.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Allowed dogs Delicious food -fine dining, kind of $$$$ tho Scenery
Cons: Bed

Excellent 9.0
Pros: there was no breakfast
Cons: location
Good 7.0
Pros: Location and great staff.
Cons: Booked what was advertised as a "Double room" that resulted being a "single room." It was very disappointing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel has all the amenities. Restaurant, lounge, spa and pool. Rooms are large and very comfy. Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be back 👍
Cons: Nothing, everything was great
Excellent 8.0
Cons: bed was too firm. I felt like I was lying on the floor.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Is very clean
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I love the Swiss chalet ambiance that the property has. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and the location was top notch. I would stay here again in a heart beat!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I was absolutely impressed by staff. Part of it was Kayak's new check-in process allows you to make requests, and the hotel was absolutely on point with follow-up. But even then, they went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and fun. I stayed at condos for the same price, but I'd definitely go back here instead. Also, the location is perfect to the lifts.
Cons: The hotel still uses real keys instead of key cards. Easier to lose, especially on a mountain. But you may think of it as a plus.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This is an older hotel that is very nicely kept. It is clean and in good repair. The staff was nice and helpful. It is in a good location right across the street from the Village and just a few miles from the Mammoth Mountain Resort. We would definitely stay there again.
Cons: We didn't like that the spa did not open until 10 am.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location, just across the street from the gondola to Canyon Lodge. Walk out of your room in your ski gear and you're good to go. Great restaurant and wine bar, free continental breakfast very convenient to grab something quick before getting on the mountain. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location was great. Close to vons, food, Starbucks, trolley pickup/drop-off. The room had complimentary coffee in room, TV, nice bathroom.
Cons: The bathroom door had some issues closing.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was good Also nice and quiet
Cons: No hot water Stairs bad for my knees
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Setting was delightful.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great staff! Nice room. Wonderful ice machine.
Cons: Breakfast and air conditioning were not included in the rate, so I believe the fee is at least 15-20% too high. The hair dryer was burned out. The shower head was very weak.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Will stay again.
Cons: Could use a few available snack and/or grab-and-go options
Good 6.0
Pros: No breakfast served "due to covid."
Cons: Could not see motorcycles from the room.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Upon checking in the room that I was provided was not what was displayed online. After speaking with the staff they were able to quickly change the room, which was much more in line with what was needed for the duration of our stay. The spa downstairs was great with the steam room Jacuzzi and shower to wind down your day. We also spent a little time in the lounge area which was comfy and relaxing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice spa; breakfast buffet was way better than I expected given that it is complimentary; friendly staff.
Cons: Room and beds were small, but I did stay in the lowest priced room
Good 6.5
Pros: Was clean & convenient
Cons: Typical for a Motel, can be noisy at times.
Good 7.4
Pros: All the Attendants were very friendly. Breakfast was fun and so was the pool table on top of the Loft. Located right near great trails and shopping. Cozy lobby area with a nice fire place to relax by. I left my computer charger chord in my room and they mailed it back to me.
Cons: Very noisy and badly insulated walls for sound as most of the older properties in Mammoth. The bathroom air vent sounded very old and when nearby rooms put theirs on it was like a washing machine on spin cycle LOUD...

Good 7.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly and prompt to help!
Cons: The bed was very high and the room was quite hot.
Good 7.0
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable! I also enjoyed the breakfast!
Cons: There was unfortunately no AC. The room didn't have a refrigerator or a microwave either.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very clean place
Cons: No breakfast in the morning when i went to the office at 7:00am
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location and room, managers did a grat job.
Good 6.0
Pros: The room was very nice and a good value considering the location
Cons: There were two dogs barking on and off from 4 pm till we left the hotel the next morning at 6 am. One dog was in another unit and one from the office/care takers area. There was no contact with anyone from the office, either at check in or over the phone on the number they provided.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice breakfast (Take-out during Covid) Cozy Hot tub Quiet location
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a woods right behind the B&B where you can take a easy 20 loop hike.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was perfect loved the jacuzzi after a long hike
Cons: the stairs next time definitely asking for downstairs
Okay 4.2
Pros: Staff at checkin were nice. Breakfast was nice.
Cons: Incredibly thin walls, specifically between rooms 12 and 11. No warning or anything posted in the room about this. We were kept up late and woken up early having to listen to every single word the massive family next door said. The bed in room 12 was awful. Old and very worn out. Very bad for your back.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very quaint. Not fancy, but functional and comfortable. The pancakes at breakfast were some of the best I've ever had! . Staff was very friendly and made us feel at home.
Cons: The lack of counter space in the bathroom.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great location, charming, delicious breakfast (included), very close to mountain, towns and restaurants. Hot tub was great for relaxing after full day of snowboarding.
Cons: Bed could have been a little more comfortable, everything else was wonderful
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly, helpful, thoughtful, quaint, old but clean. In-room artificial fireplace-heater. Romantic. Clean hot tub. Central location. Thank you ..Will return.
Cons: Wish we could stay longer!
Okay 5.3
Pros: Nothing of note...
Cons: Place is old and worn..window and ac did not work

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Microwave and fridge in room.
Cons: Little dated. No elevator. Rooms all upstairs.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff were super friendly. We met 2 front desk agents and both of them were really nice and very friendly. They were also really nice to my pug which was a plus. Will definitely go back to Sierra Lodge whenever we go back to Mammoth Lakes 🦣😊
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location, room spacious and well equipped
Cons: A little bit of need for renovation
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good price, comfortable, very nice tub, good entryway area for leaving snowy/wet gear.
Cons: Towel rack fell off the wall.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very clean and the staff was above and beyond helpful. I truly appreciate that and most likely will stay again if I’m in the area
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice location near June and Crowley Lake, the rooms are very spacious.. def needs a furniture upgrade but the bed was extremely comfortable! The staff was very friendly and the garage was very convenient.
Cons: It's definitely a long drive to Yosemite Valley from this area (2hrs), the kitchenette did not include a stove/pans so we could not make breakfast. The lady at the lobby provided us with a portable one, which helped for a day, but the listing was not completely accurate.
Good 6.0
Pros: It was super nice to wake up and not have to drive far to get to the trails. Excellent location.
Cons: Just a very run down hotel. But it suffices if you are just looking for a place to crash that isn’t your car. Still, 230 bucks is pretty steep... but I’m guessing that’s normal pricing for Mammoth.
Good 7.4
Pros: Pleasant staff; good location; free parking; nice shower; good-sized fridge.
Cons: Loud air-conditioner made sleep difficult. Room seemed to be mid renovation. Hotel was generally careworn.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, location is great, near ski resort and stores, plus the breakfast was included and pretty good.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff were great
Cons: NA
Excellent 9.7
Pros: great location and value
Cons: hot tub opens at 3pm
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: Not much good about it. I guess the bed linens even though mine was stained and ripped seemed to be clean.
Cons: Walls were so thin you could here EVERYTHING on both sides and hallway. Musty smell. No air conditioner or elevator. Additional hidden charges after arrival. Not worth the price.
Good 6.0
Pros: The front desk was polite and helpful and the location was close to restaurants. There was a small kitchenette with paper towels and some plates. The breakfast room was lovely.
Cons: The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything around you. The toilet flush upstairs was very loud and the outer door slam was also loud. The room had a damp odor.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Wonderful staff. Very helpful and kind. Clean bedrooms. Kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave in bedroom. New TVs. Bathroom has large vanity outside of it. Eco-friendly & organic soap (Ginger Tea w/ Oats... freakin nice) wasn't a bad touch. More than enough towels. Warm. All you need after a long day on the slopes. SUPER CONVENIENTLY LOCATED TO WALK TO OLD MAMMOTH ROAD AND BLACK VELVET COFFEE (Best coffee in town!).
Cons: I thought it could be updated – but a remodel is a large undertaking, so no complaints here. Shower faucets could be higher – don't fit anyone over 6' tall.
Good 6.8
Pros: Location and covered parking
Cons: Wifi and cable tv was down for most of the time there
Good 6.5
Pros: nice size room, good bathrooms/shower, continental breakfast was good altho choices limited there was fresh fruit, temperature control was good
Cons: noisy hallways....doors slammed all night when closed from people going in and out from rooms

Okay 5.0
Cons: Hot. Needed an extra fan and one was not available
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and rustic
Cons: Tub and shower were two high difficult to get in and out
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It’s was in a quiet area.
Cons: It was well cared for and easy to find
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great place to stay.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: I love the location the level entry and the cabin was cozy and charming, what I didn’t like was the carpets were dirty the fold out bed was absolutely not acceptable to sleep on the coils in the mattress we’re actually sticking out.Could have taking a little more time and care in the simple things like the cutting board had growth on it, The grout around the bathtub needs to be replaced, extra paper towels, hand soap, and bath towels would’ve been nice.
Good 6.0
Pros: Great location. Close to every attraction around Mammoth lake. Very quiet neighborhood.
Cons: There is no kitchen. we find out when we arrived. Most of the time we went to picnic area to cook i guess thats ok.Very small room feels like is section off from large room and block off with wood wall. Not speak with all unit. Just beware which one are you booking. Our friend recommended here i guess they have booked the larger room/whole floor the experience was very positive. Just little shocked the difference. I guess I'm very hotel person thought if you don't book the President room every room is pretty much similar. I would give it try next time for sure.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our experience. When we arrived the first evening, our mini-frig/freezer was not working properly and the staff responded first thing the next morning to replace it for us. All was handled with efficiency and timely. The lodge is small and located in a quiet neighborhood with excellent walking opportunities (when you're not up in the mountains on the trails). While it's on a busy street, our room faced the street and the traffic was never an issue for us. Very quiet! Bed was comfortable, shower great, TV channel selection excellent (although we didn't watch much TV). Great experience overall for this price level accommodation.
Cons: The malfunctioning frig upon arrival was disappointing, but they dealt with it in a timely fashion so it was no big deal for us.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Quiet..beautiful surroundings
Cons: No hangers..a third of light bulbs didn't work..some windows didn't work..curtain rod broken..shower head leaks..bath sink clogged..how about a facelift on this apartment.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Well stocked kitchenette and fold out couch.
Cons: Bed not very comfortable.
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Unit had a kitchen and large living room.
Cons: Single pane windows will get drafty in winter.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I had a very late arrival, it was super easy to set up and also to move in without wondering where my room was or waking anyone up. Great, social atmosphere incredible location.
Cons: I couldn’t find an outlet in the room to charge devices overnight… but I didn’t look very hard
Good 7.0
Pros: Close to activities in Mammoth
Cons: Expensive for services offered. Clean kitchen but WiFi was slow and bathrooms small.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Good kitchen - stove, dishwasher, small appliances and kitchenware.
Cons: Super noisy neighbors - some of them used to wake up at 4-5 am, grind coffee and slam doors to the bathroom we lived near by. Room door doesn’t help against any noises from kitchen or hallways. Lights don’t turn off completely, and blinders had huge holes in it - it was like sleeping with night lamp on, so no healthy sleeping whatsoever. We didn’t find how to turn off AC in our room - looks like it controls the whole hostel house, not rooms. It was cold inside.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit uncomfortable.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location is awesome, right on the main street and so close to the main area or downtown if u wanna call it of mammoth lakes.
Cons: The bed was not comfortable, very hard.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Cool and clean hostel.
Cons: It was quite cold inside.
Good 7.0
Pros: Good location
Cons: Odd smell

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was perfect and super close to all the attractions.
Cons: They didn’t serve breakfast like the website said, or have a hot tub like the website said.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very close to village. Cottage was a good sized room with full size fridge, stove, microwave, cups and utensils. Great for small family or a small group of friends. We were 3 ppl staying in the cottage with king bed and sofa bed. Self check in was convenient.
Cons: Jacuzzi under construction.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved this place! Very comfortable, had all the necessary ammenities. Soft bed sheets and comfy bed.
Cons: Maybe the fact that the wash basin was old looking, but worked fine.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice large family room and big TV that would accept my fire stick.
Cons: No AC, limited ice.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is great . There’s lots of restaurants and stuff to do around the property. It’s close to the main highway. The stay was very comfortable. It is verrrrry peaceful . No loud neighbors in the area.
Cons: No air conditioning :( We booked for mid July & the sun was very VERY harsh. They do provide you with a fan , But honestly , it’s not enough for the heat .
Poor 1.0
Pros: I would never recommend this hotel. Beyond disappointed. Very dirty, bugs and spiders with webs everywhere. Staff in office we’re very rude. The spa was broken and had no flooring or water. This place is run down and I would never recommend.
Cons: Cleaning
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The cabin we got was perfect. Clean and nice location.
Cons: Cabin could Use more lights and also better fans or ac.
Good 6.0
Pros: I chose this motel because all the other condos I wanted to reserve were booked near the Village Mountain Center. It is walking distance, only about two blocks to the Center. We were given a room on the second level. There are no elevators of course so we had to lug our heavy bags up stairs. Was prepared for that. This is not a fancy hotel so the doors to the rooms are accessible to anyone. The bathroom appeared updated except for the sink that had grey cracks but still functional. Lots of electrical outlets. Arm chair was uncomfortable, worn in padded seat cushion. Has a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room. Continental breakfast, coffee and tea served in the common area next to the office in the mornings. Jacuzzi is tiny but at least they have one that works. Very steep hill that leads into their parking lot that was icy causing vehicles to slide-exit is less steep, which is around the connecting complex next door.

Okay 5.0
Pros: Breakfast was limited
Cons: Fee choices
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Hot Weather
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I have no idea how I missed that on booking, but very important there is no ac. Even when it was 60 over night, in the room it still felt like 80. Reception girl was really helpful! Gave us all the tips on what to do in the area. Breakfast was great, only downside was the AC. Location is perfect, close to everything you need.
Cons: Man its 2021 you have to put AC in the rooms, please other then that the hotel is perfect for a short getaway
Okay 5.0
Pros: Location
Cons: We have stayed here before but it was fall and 4 years ago. This place has no ac. Was a little dirty. Staff seemed to have a lot of visitors. Rooms were really run down. Not worth the almost $400 for 2 nights stay
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The location is good and has good breakfast
Cons: This place has no air conditioning and it is nearly impossible to sleep especially when we were there in the summertime
Poor 1.0
Pros: Comfortable mattress on bed.
Cons: No air conditioning despite 100-plus degree temperature. Silly me for ASSUMING there’d be A. C. (Sarcasm). No ice in the ice machines on any floor and no offer to remedy that. Grubby carpet, cracked bathroom sink and multiple claw/fingernail marks on the inside bathroom door. Mildew smell in hallway.
Good 7.0
Pros: Large room Personal really nice and helpful Good breakfast
Cons: Building a bit old, need some fixes No air conditioning
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff was very pleasant. We enjoyed the pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom needed updating. It was older and some parts of the tub liner were broken.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was great and next to some good restaurants and just a few minutes away from The Village. The staff was really nice especially the lady making breakfast and the food was tasty. The indoor "pool" in the pictures is actually a hot tub and it was great to relax in after a day of hiking.
Cons: The only thing I didn't realize was that the rooms don't come with AC and you have to leave the windows and curtains open with the fan on for some freshness, it was still pretty hot in the rooms and I had to wake up early to close the curtains making it stuffy.
Good 6.8
Pros: Breakfast was great. Big room. Good sized fridge
Cons: There was hairball in bathroom and candy wrapper on the floor, room was hot, no fan in bathroom, no AC
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Check in was quick and easy. Staff was nice and efficient. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The bath/shower was chipping paint and the toilet backed and sink backed up.
Mediocre 3.1
Cons: I was bitten by bed bugs. Would not recommend I saw only one staff member my entire stay. The only thing good about this hotel was the breakfast.
Okay 5.1
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: No AC made the stay uncomfortable. Fan provided was loud and floor was not vacuumed daily.
Okay 4.0
Pros: near mountain paths; breakfast ok, staff friendly
Cons: air conditioning was broken; the rugs felt damp and not clean;
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff was excellent... Friendly helpful and welcoming... Food was good great variety... The parking garage was great because it snowed enough to bury a car and we did not have to dig out to head home.
Cons: Although our room was clean it had an odd smell and there were ants in the bathroom
Okay 4.0
Pros: Proximity to ski resort
Cons: Maintenance issues in bathroom NEVER addressed.
Good 6.0
Pros: Price
Cons: Can hear people upstairs walking
Good 7.6
Pros: - proximity to mountain - parking - breakfast - fan in the room
Cons: - people with kids kept us up ALL night. Banging and jumping around - room keys are odd, ridiculous, and easy to lose. Get regular room keys that fit in a wallet.

Okay 4.0
Pros: It was a located in a good location.
Cons: No complaints
Okay 5.9
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Price
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This property is right in the heart of things. Shopping and entertainment is within walking distance. Also decent driving distance to different sightseeing in the surrounding area. They are dog friendly and at my arrival they had welcome treats for him! I love when people go the extra mile to acknowledge pets.
Cons: They had notices in the lobby and even gave paper notices at check in of bear sightings yet the trash wasn’t emptied from the time I arrived to the time I departed (Saturday afternoon - Monday morning)
Good 7.0
Cons: The pool looked nasty
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the bed was very comfy and the location is perfect
Cons: room was alittle small and tight next time I will get a bigger room. my wife was not happy that the pool was closed
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Staff was nice. They let me checking early. The grounds and my room were very clean. They have a backpacker food grab bag in the office
Cons: This place is very noisy .dogs bark in the rooms walls are not sound proof, you can hear everything people walking around at all hours more dogs barking on their leash .Only slept 2 hours because of this. I like dogs, I don't like irresponsible dog owners!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: staff was super nice, check in was easy and fast. our room was also really clean and comfortable.
Cons: neighbors were a bit loud at night but obviously this is not the properties fault
Good 7.0
Pros: Perfect location!
Cons: The bathroom in our room was very weird. It looked like an old room that was turned into a bathroom. It did not have any spots to place things and it was ugly looking.
Okay 4.8
Cons: Bare minimum for stay. Beds not comfortable. No Hair dryer. Shower head leaking. Non smoking room smelt horribly like smoke. No Kleenex.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: clean, updated, close to mountain, good value
Cons: small bathroom towels, low shower pressure, no hairdryer
Good 7.7
Pros: The Motel 6 is a dependable place to stay in Mammoth. The renovation is appreciated. A nice place to stay with a friends staff.
Cons: This is a very minor issue, but the heater was cranked up to maximum when we walkers into the room. It was insanely hot.
Okay 4.8
Cons: Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke, the bed was really uncomfortable and the a/c didn't work well at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It's a great place to park your stuff and sleep. I didn't bring my dog this time, but they allow dogs. The rooms are nice and clean. Spare, but nicely designed. Staff was friendly and efficient. This was my second time staying there and it probably won't be the last, as it's a great value compared to everything else in town. The location is also good for skiers as it's close to the mountain and two shuttle stops.
Cons: There was no coffeemaker, no tissue, no little shampoos, and no hairdryer. They give you a couple of measly bars of soap and that's it. Not having a coffee maker is a major problem when you're there in the winter to ski and can't make a hot drink in your room.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Wood floors made it cold on my feet in morning
Good 6.5
Pros: Good location, central to everything. Close to the village.
Cons: Not enough parking in front of my room. People with motorcycles are hogging up one space each! I was forced to park on the other side of the building away from my car. It was a hassle to load and unload luggage. Parking should be assigned with a parking pass that shows your room number or something... No shampoo provided in the bathroom! For $116 a night plus taxes, a sample size bottle should be included. Nearly every motel I've stayed at provides it. I had to wash my hair with barsoap. Not happy about that. TV remote had dead batteries in it... Toilet seat would not stay up on its own. It kept slamming down on its own. The toilet was also nasty under the seat and in the hinge area. They never cleaned under it! Mattress was too stiff to sleep well on. I had a sore back for 2 days. The ceilings creak when people upstairs are walking at night. Very annoying. Wifi was "free" but only for 24 hours eventhough I was staying for 2 nights... it was also very slow!
Okay 5.4
Pros: Good location. With pool although we did not use it.
Cons: We had to pay for internet and the front desk said it is good for viewing emails. It wasnt. The room is a bit small for the 2 beds for the price of $168.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Surpringly updated rooms. Clean.best value.
Cons: 2 story. No spa.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was very small but the furniture/decor was up to date and very functional, space wouldn't have been an issue if we weren't cramming 4 bikes into the room with us. The mgmt put my pizza in their fridge and was overall very helpful. Modern windows and doors meant the room was quiet when sealed.
Cons: The AC went out, which meant we had to leave the windows open, and the modern dual pane windows when closed keep the noise of other travelers comings and goings to very low levels. With the windows open large groups of foreign travelers rambling off in their native languages at 1 in the morning will drive anyone insane! The GM Gary was very understanding of my complaint and very graciously compensated us for the trouble, which was a pain for them since I paid through expedia/kayak. TLDR?: I had a problem that couldn't be fixed, GM covered it immediately
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Pet-friendly--it had a path below the property where you can walk the dogs; poop bags and receptacle at the back of property. The location can't be beat---across is a bakery and an outlet and a few more shops. McDonald's, Rite Aid, and lots of gas stations nearby. Oh, and did I mention that the USPS is right beside it? It's only a few minutes drive away from Mammoth Ski resort and Twin Lakes. We never consider staying at Motel 6 properties but the reviews we've read of this particular Motel 6 at Mammoth Lakes were reliable. It wasn't like it-must-have-bed-bugs-and-molds thing or anything like that. The modern decor is kind of nice and they did choose material (bed covers, curtains and wood flooring) that could repel fur. I appreciate the service of the staff as well. They went beyond just a smile and made sure our reservations were taken care of. (This review is based on a stay before the summer season ended.)
Cons: Just the fact that they didn't provide any bathroom amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer. But maybe that's the Motel 6 way, I wouldn't know because I've never stayed in one. There was no coffee pot either, luckily I decided to bring my electric kettle.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Close to restaurants and to the village also free transportation to go around town great views a good spot to be with the family

Excellent 9.0
Pros: I like the hotel decoration, the location, it was walking distance to stores, restaurants, cafes. The people that works there was friendly and nice too.
Cons: I didn’t like the parking situation. We got to the hotel after dinner and it was impossible to find a parking spot. Everything was full.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Central to pretty much everything. The room was great, large enough for us two and could have fit another roll away bed. Within walking distance to so many stores. The staff was really nice. They even have two restaurants on site and a mini golf course in the parking lot. Didn’t use the pool or spa but it looked nice. Gym had a few machines but was ok for what it was in the room it was in.
Cons: The layout was very confusing. Make sure that you follow the map given to you. Bed was very old and too soft for my husband and I. Plus his side where he slept it was springy.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location was great, around many store and points of interest. The room was ok. the pillows were my least favorite thing and the ac was pretty loud the ac filters were not clean. Did enjoy the pool table and the mini golf for the family.
Cons: The bed comfort was not the greatest the pillows were big and not satisfying. the ac was to loud and the filters were not clean the shower head could be better had a few clogged on the shower head where the water didn't come out with good pressure.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable, clean room. Nicely decorated.Good location. Had a pool, but didn't have a chance to use.
Cons: Some issues with the spa, but they took care of it the next day.
Okay 4.0
Cons: Old and smelly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was super cute, clean, and the staff was awesome! We just loved everything about it!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything about this resort is great of how it’s kept up and the uniqueness of its history and cleanliness. The pool and the Jacuzzi which is big enough for 12 to 15 people to fit in was very relaxing to come back to you at the end of the day. There is a pool table in the lobby with a magnificent fireplace just sit around and talk. Plenty of spaces to relax and read a book if you so choose. So many choices of places to walk to and eat there is the Red Lantern (Chinese) and Rafters (Burgers and Wings )along with a sandwich and pizza shop. You also have the choice to walk to a subway if you want to save money.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location and decor.
Cons: Carrying luggage up stairs. Need elevator.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It;s the third time I stayed in this hotel and the room that we got this time was the best so far. The bathroom is new and modern and the room was clean.
Cons: My only issue was the sink in the bathroom was blocked, we had to wait long time to get it clean again and the pressure of the shower was so light. Maybe a little bit of maintenance would be perfect for that room.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great location. old but clean and great environment
Cons: Little outdated in some areas
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great place to stay
Cons: Pricey like everywhere else during summer
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good location. Nice clean rooms with nice linens and towels. Clean.
Cons: Parking is crowded.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: We got a great rate. We had a room with two queens and it was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect with amenities and activities for the whole family within close proximity.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: I liked it was close to everything. Had restaurants attached to the facility. The staff were excellent, gave extra blankets, towels etc. Nice shower with unlimited hot water!
Cons: Hallways had a little wet dank smell.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Like everything, rooms spacious and well maintained.
Okay 5.7
Pros: The room was nice, comfey bed, nice bathroom, staff was nice.
Cons: Way too over priced for what it is. It's not a Westin. Far from main lodge.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: I loved the décor, very retro 50's but warm and cozy. The lobby was warm and inviting with a fire place, plenty of space for families to hang out, with board games, chess and a pool table. They have a spa with sauna and steam room, fitness area. Rooms have all the amenities you need to feel like your at an Embassy Suite but the décor is one of a kind!
Cons: Check -in was disorganized, the front desk person was not empathic of the stress that creates. The manager/owner was on it and took care of our stress that there was an hour wait for our room. Maid service is disorganized, takes them all day to get to your room, one day our room was not cleaned, because we were in and out of it more than usual.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I got the room that I requested (near the elevator because of mobility issues). The room was large, well-equipped, and comfortable.
Cons: The furnishings could use some sprucing up. There were some dings in the wood of the furniture, and the lightproof backing was peeling off the curtains. Not a big deal, but could be improved.
Good 7.0
Pros: It was a nice hotel. Overpriced. I know places are trying to recoup the money they lost last year so i guess it's just how things are in 2021
Cons: See above
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: We stayed two nights in a king bed room from 7/15/2021 to 7/17/2021. On the morning of 7/17/2021, I was shocked to see there was few big blood stains on one side of a pillow cover from other customers of old time (the cover with zipper), see pictures attached. This is unacceptable. My questions to management and cleaning staff: why didn't you throw it away when you saw it originally? Why did you put it into washer/dryer to washer it with other pillow cases and reuse it for later customers?
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved staying here. The room was so spacious and the staff so nice! Breakfast was great and the pool/sauna was a nice treat
Cons: Everything was great
Excellent 8.0
Pros: That we could have our dog stay.
Cons: That we were next to the ice machine 😕
Poor 1.0
Pros: the room size is fine. very close to starbucks and grocery outlet.
Cons: dirty surroundings, no trash can outside except the dog poop receptacle which is used as a garbage receptacle. trash all over the area. needs some landscaping in front. receptionist needs to have pleasant personality not old and not fat. breakfast is so expensive any guest can walk up and get breakfast and i have to pay. expensive stay totally.
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful. We needed a place to bring our dog and they had rooms available for pets. The place is older but very clean and comfortable beds.
Good 6.5
Pros: Starbucks 100 feet away. Wet bar, microwave and small refrigerator in room are nice to have.
Cons: My 3rd stay here. The beds were bad every time. Everything very dated and old. Couch in room was beyond uncomfortable. The chairs at the table also terribly uncomfortable. Don’t like how bathroom sink is outside bathroom 2 feet from door to hallway. Carpet in room is stained and quite old. The place just needs a revamp badly.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: The pool and jacuzzi was dirty and Brown , this was the reason why we wanted to stay here was the pool and jacuzzi, but unfortunately it was scary to get in . Also they gave us the wrong room at first . Also are room was not ready at the check in time . Will not stay here again
Excellent 10.0
Mediocre 3.4
Cons: Shilo Inn is an old hotel that is in desperate need of a remodel. The name 'suites' in their name is misleading. There was no suite. They are just standard rooms. There is an old hotel stench like someone smoked in there and it was covered up with air freshener. The carpets were dingy. The TV was an old tube television from the 80s. The beds were old and springy. The wifi would not work - tried three different access points. The free breakfast is...meh. The water in the swimming pool was cloudy. Don't recommend staying here if you have another choice. Maybe Motel 6 would have been better.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Spacious rooms and great sheltered parking.
Cons: Breakfast choices were limited.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Gym was setup inside the dining room.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: They could not get the reservation right. The breakfast was poor, there was no selection on 2 of 3 days I stayed. The common areas were run down. The heat in our room was either blast furnace or ice box. The jacuzzi looked like a science experiment. I could go on.... Not worth the $$$$ I payed during the holidays.
Good 7.1
Pros: The free breakfast is always nice...nothing cooked to order of course..but it appears most hotels are doing this. Handy when wanting to get up and on the road ASAP.
Cons: A couple of hikers came in and wanted to use the restroom. They were told no as it was for guests only. Not sure how many guests use the lobby restroom...I use the one in the room! Overall the hotel could use a face lift.
Good 7.4
Pros: the hotel had sufficient amenities (fitness; pool; breakfast). My room with a bar counter, frig, microwave was very room with great counter space and floor space. comfortable bed.
Cons: the hotel is in dire need of remodeling and was beat up and still using actual keys for doors so you just had to ignore the condition for what it offered in location to town and comfortable rooms.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Building is a bit old. Breakfast had no meat and no eggs(not breakfast without meat and eggs).
Okay 5.4
Cons: information wrong. reservatoni said two queen but we were given a room with one bed
Good 6.5
Cons: only strawberry yogurt; I am allergic; this is the second time this happened this year.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice friendly staff. Lots of room in the room itself and lots of nice flat furniture and areas to place and spread out luggage/wet ski gear. Decently fast internet. Good breakfast. 24hr indoor pool and spa!
Cons: Only about 24-25 channels on the TV.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The jacuzzi of course! Last time we stayed we took in all the fun but this time we chilled at the pool and in the comfy clean room. The staff is friendly and Brett, at check in, exceptional and I haven’t seen concierge like this in a long time!
Poor 1.0
Cons: I booked the room for my daughter. The room was booked for a late check in. The hotel had a system set up for late arriving guests to pick up an electronic key from a secure safe near the lobby. When my daughter arrived the electronic key in the safe did not open the door to her room. No one responded on the phone for reaching the front desk. My daughter, in the middle of the night, had to book a room at a nearby Motel 6. The hotel has refused to refund the fee for the night my daughter was not able to access her room.
Poor 1.0
Pros: The room was filthy! The room had dirty water splatter on the wall, the chair was ripped and all of the furniture was stained. I would not walk around the room with out socks on because the carpet was sticky. Also the bathroom sink had nats coming out of it. I would not recommend that anyone stay here
Cons: I didn't like anything about this hotel
Okay 5.0
Cons: No AC, the rooms weren’t cleaned, sheets weren’t changed
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Check in didn’t have any information about my booking.Room smells and the entrance was dirty .No air conditioning . Room needs a major upgrade
Good 6.2
Pros: Friendly front counter staff
Cons: Room hallway is kinda smell, back door is no lock, anyone can access, no security camera in the back parking lot.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Good value
Cons: Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable; gym was limited
Good 6.5
Pros: Good location. Nice common areas.
Cons: Pretty no frills room. But it was a ski trip so I was on the slopes, not in the room. Did the job fine.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff was very rude. Asked what incidentals they were holding money for and the desk had no answers. Another attendant then chimed in and said it was in case I damaged something. That would be an incident, not an incidental I told him. The both said whatever and threw my credit card at me. Won't be back. Hot tub is very big but smells of sulpher.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff very nice and helpful.
Cons: They advertised a bar and restaurant but the bar was closed while we we there and the he only restaurant open wasn't very good.

Good 6.0
Pros: Beds
Cons: Tv didn't work in first room, no shower curtain in second room. They did accommodate us for trouble and were very friendly. Bed's were very nice.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Bed was comfortable nice scenery very clean excellent choice of not having carpet in the room
Cons: No shower cap in bathroom and refrigerator not working properly
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: It was just ok
Cons: The bathrooms need to be remodeled badly. They smell like a old bathroom. They look like a old bathroom. The room was ok. I don’t understand the purple wall? The staff was not very friendly.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: The place is falling apart, ac was old and noise, floor had soft spots in it. They charge $30.00 a nighy per pet, for me that was $120.00 cash only.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: I will never use Booking.com ever again. They’re deceptive. Changed room from 2 nights to 3 nights was charged $200 cancellation fees
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was good, it was more than enough so we took for our snacks on the road on our way home.
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5.1
Pros: They had a vacancy, close to skiing and powder conditions
Cons: The entire place needs to be refreshed
Mediocre 3.1
Pros: Location
Cons: Not getting attitude when we asked for help regarding items in our room not working, cleanliness (mold in bathroom, broken shower faucet, spackled walls unpainted, piles of dirty laundry in the hall, filthy carpet, bad odor). There was a complete lack of snow removal resulting in the front door not fully shutting & the exit from the underground parking causing many cars to get stuck. The breakfast offered was dry cereal & coffee orange juice.
Mediocre 2.5
Cons: Woke up to find a bed bug in the sheets
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing to like!!!! I don’t normally write reviews, but I needed to for this place, to save anyone else from staying there, don’t stay here, you will regret it!
Cons: It was absolutely terrible, the room was disgusting, outlets didn’t work, shower/tub had a hole in it, lights didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work. Really bad!!!
Okay 4.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I won’t go back again!
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: I didn't like anything but the location.
Cons: The moldy tub, nasty carpet, intermittent hot water, terrible breakfast, empty hot tub, crazy loud air conditioner, missing smoke alarms, musty smells, giant hole in ceiling where the bathroom fan goes and to top it off the broken fridge that ruined our snacks. The worst.! Would rather stay in my car in a blizzard.
Mediocre 3.1
Pros: Location
Cons: Soooo dirty and the bed sink into a giant hole in the middle. The staff were non-existent and the "amenities" listed online (sauna, pool, jacuzzi) weren't there. The breakfast was poor quality and the whole place smelled. The garage had a ton of lights that were out so it was dark and rapey. I mean, it was a cheap rare, so we got what we paid for, but we travel A LOT and this was one of the worst places we've ever stayed.
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: Only good thing was location.
Cons: First room had a massive leak and there was water everywhere. Second room was alright but we had to move to another room due to the room being "reserved for someone else". The final room we ended up in after being moved rooms twice had a non-functioning television which was great for the kids (sarcasm). The coffee pot in the room did not work, and the hair dryer went out after about 15 seconds of use. The worst part though was that the pipes backed up and the sink filled with poop filled toilet water. When we told them what happened they brought a plunger in and splashed the poop water all over the counter then just wiped it off with a rag when I told them not to worry about it because we were trying to get the kids asleep and we were leaving in the morning anyway. I was too grossed out watching the poop water being splashed all over the counter. To top it off they wouldn't switch us rooms because all others were "reserved". We ended up not using the bathroom on the last night and day due to extremely unsanitary conditions.
Good 6.5
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Not very well maintained. Old. Bathroom door did not close. Noisy
Okay 4.5
Cons: Old, old, OLD!!! The toilet ran all night and flushed it's self every 15 minutes or so, made me sad since we are in a drought!!! The outside does not look like the pictures... we were not told that there was a sauna/hot tub or game-room.... so those pictures should not be included if they are not available. My fault to assume there was an elevator.. upon check-in I asked for a ground floor room and he practically laughed at me. Not ADA friendly. Was worried they were going to charge us for things that were already broken in the room after check-out =[ Glad it was only a 1 night stop on our way to Lake Tahoe.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Only positive thing is the location, close to Mammoth Lakes
Cons: DON'T STAY HERE, and SAVE YOURSELF FROM FACING INSULT AND RACISM. Very dirty, run down place, no elevator. Had to carry luggage up two floors through narrow stairs. Rooms were pretty small, bathroom door did not lock, towels had stains on them, blankets had multiple tears and holes.. No one in front desk at night.. Breakfast was awful. Most importantly the Manager and his wife were so rude and unprofessional. While we were checking in, the manager made snide remarks about another customer who just stepped out after checking out. Later, the Manager's wife insulted our friend, when we protested she said "This is America and I am American, so I can say what ever I want". We were really shocked to see her level of racism !!
Good 6.5
Pros: Very run down inside and out. Tub leaked all night, light switches had to be jiggled to work. Cleaning crew tried their best with what they had. A tidy shambles.
Cons: Outside needs paint, inside needs paint, plumbing, and electrical. Room door electrical lock missing replaced with ram shackle key lock and metal plate that made opening door difficult.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: great value for the price, didn't expect to have a jacuzzi too!
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: 24 hour cocoa in the lobby The room had a balcony Angel's restaurant next door
Cons: It was like walking into the 1970's and it looked and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned since that time. There was mold in the shower. There were stains on the towels. We found toe nail clippings between the bed and nightstand -- it looked like it had never been vacuumed. It was even worse under the beds. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. There was no elevator so be prepared to carry all our luggage and gear up 3 flights of stairs. The walls were paper-thin. We could hear everything our neighbors said. Nothing seemed to work in the room including the TV so the maintenance man was sent to fix it. He was extremely rude and constantly swore in front of our small children (and he was apparently drunk according to the front desk). It took a total of 6 hours and 3 TVs until we received a working one. The parking was low and tight, especially when you have a full-sized SUV with a ski rack and snowboards on top. The chairs and luggage rack that came with the room were broken and left out on the balcony. They have open trash cans in the stairwell which contributed to the smell. Plus, both the maintenance man and housekeeping don't wear uniforms so don't forget to ask for their name and ID as a safety precaution. I guess the maintenance man had one thing right when he said the owner is a cheapskate because he refuses to update anything in the hotel. This place should be demolished.
Good 6.0
Pros: The location is good, the continental breakfast although basic was ok. My room was clean and well supplied with what one would expect..
Cons: Disappointing compared to the last time I stayed just a few rooms down the hall. This room was fairly cold when I got there and took about 3 hours to warm up. The dresser looked like it had been in a flood. The tv remote and sound didn't work properly. The room needs up dating, several tile broken in the bathroom and overall the room seems very dated.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Don't even think about it. Dirty, bad service, Unfriendly staff. We had to leave after we checked in and saw the room.
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: That its in mammoth and cheap
Cons: First off, the place is old and rickety. We get there, check in is easy, and we go to the room. Decent size and has fridge, microwave, TV and a balcony for a cheap rate. The doors all are hard to open and close, no biggie. So I go to take a shower and there is no hot water. I let it run for a while, still nothing. Go downstairs to tell the front desk, she says to wait a little while, if it still doesn't work she would change our room. Didn't work after 20 mins. So we get another room. It's a little smaller, but still has the same amenities. Go to use the shower again, the bathroom door won't shut all the way :/ but hey the hot water works. I jump in shower and when I'm finished I go to grab a towel, only to find there isn't any towels!! Only had small face towels and the smaller towels that you would put on the floor! Great, so I had to use all the smaller towels to dry off. There was even some left over trash from the previous people. The beds were ok, but the walls are paper thin so if your neighbors are talking you can hear them easily, in our case, at 5am :/ Luckily we were only staying for the one night to go snowboarding the next day. I definitely don't want to stay here again. What a dump.
Good 7.4
Pros: Great location, comfy beds, cheap prices and easy cancellations. Great for us as snowboarding season pass holders based in Orange County.
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Super friendly staff and helpful. They were very pleasant and engaging. When they saw I had an injured foot, they immediately assisted carrying bags without my asking. This hotel is located close to everything a traveler needs; restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, health food store nearby, recreational product sales, recreational activities close by. I will definitely return to this hotel. Juice machine was available 24 hours/day and the continental breakfast was pretty good. All of this at a good price.
Cons: Nothing.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We LOVED loved loved the bed, sheets, pillows and comfort... it was beyond comfortable. The design was way cool and the bathroom and hotter were just a super plus! We couldn't stay much time, but will definitely be back again. Breakfast could include some fruit for next time, but above all the Mammoth Inn is perfect place to stay!
Cons: We puertorricans are a bit loud :D.... So maybe the silence hours were a bit off for us But completely understand and will have in consideration for next time. We did have a question, does the hut tub bubbles make noise to other rooms? just to know for next time
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Excellent location. Convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. Spacious bathroom, comfortable bed!
Cons: Walls were very thin. Limited parking. Only Roku TV, so bring your passwords!
Poor 1.0
Cons: No breakfast was served, room was not cleaned today. Toilet bowl overflew and it was coming into room and we had to call hotel people to come over and fix. After continuous calls someone came and fixed it late in night
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Clean.
Cons: This is not a hotel experience. It is a renovated room in a older home with a mattress on a metal bedframe. There was no staff. The entry code provided was incorrect. No breakfast was available though advertised. The room looks directly into the driveway / bedroom of the next home over which is a dump.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Room was decent, no bugs
Cons: Walls are thin: you can hear it people walking, talking, and using shower. The shower stall is in an open space of the bedroom and the smoke alarm would go off during the shower and after because of steam. Floors not washed. Mildew in corner of shower. Poor explanation about stay experience and never got information. Poorly advertised. I didn’t know I would live so close to others. Limited parking and no one to talk to about parking. Heater is quiet, but then it doesn’t make the room that warm. Many surfaces are not sanitized. I brought Clorox wipes with me and cleaned hard surfaces and wipe turned brown. There is no microwave in the room so you can’t heat up left over food and you will have to eat cold meals if you buy groceries.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the vibe quiet and chilled , perfect location for black velvet coffee
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.2
Pros: Low price Close to Mammoth Mountain Cozy feel and common space
Cons: Small room Low quality furniture Some damage in room
Good 7.7
Pros: The Innkeeper was very nice. The location was perfect- we walked to mammoth brewery for their hop'n'sage festival.
Cons: We were in mammoth when warmer weather was present. It felt a bit stuffy in the room with no ac or ability to open windows. We still were able to get good sleep.
Good 6.8
Pros: Breakfast was pretty nice. It's was completely self service, but the fridge was well stocked.
Cons: There was no service whatsoever. When we arrived our keys weren't even there, and we had call the house keepers for an hour before we were simply told to grab our keys from the closet at the back of the desk.
