Convenient location with free parking. Outdated amendments but friendly staff. Great for just to shower and sleep
The bathroom was clean.
The breakfast was not good and the room was stained. The area by the lifts was tatty.
Regrettably cheesy and really porr service. It's A
They've assigned me the wrong room number, resulting in another guest coming over my room in the middle of the night, then the guy from the reception desk waking me up again to double check my booking, then he again asking some extra cash to be delivered due to some mistake in their system. Really cheesy hotel with miserable looks and room condition. It's not near the Airport at all. Expensive. Avoid it if possible.
I enjoyed the room, great value for money with everything you need. The restaurant is very reasonable also.
The distance from the city center is the only downside but only a minor one as taxi's are readily available
taxi service very good.
very cold in hotel bar.
i liked the reception area and my bathroom was nice
the room was to small and looked cheap compared to the pictures i seen on the internet and the window wouldnt open
Access to Manchester city by bus. Adequate, well prepared room and comfortable environment.
Noise from function room a bit concerning.
The best thing about our stay was probably the secure carpark and the lovely reception area. Shame about the rest really!
I am disabled and asked the chap on the desk to bring my bags up. I also asked for a 2nd key which i had already asked abut when i had previously phoned. After 45 mins my luggage hadnt been brought up so I went down in the lift myself and tried to struggle with my luggage until the chap saw me and hurried to my assistance, apologizing profusely. I asked about the 2nd key again and he said he would bring it up within the next 10 mins. An hour later I still didn't have the key so as I was on my way out I asked again and he gave me an extra one. The bathroom was tiny, very hard for a young disabled lady to manage and the furniture was old and scruffy looking as was the rest of the hotel decor, not fitting in with the modern looking reception.
Food was good in the restaurant
Hotel staff, while not rude were not accommodating to travelers. Even though we were just an over-night stay, there were so many instances of unhelpful staff that to list them one would say we were making them up. Additionally, the water pressure was the lowest of any hotel we stayed in while in europe, we could not easily find out how to call the desk, the coffee in the room was old, the elevator was rough and jerky, linen carts were left full of dirty bedding in the main floor hall just out side the elevator all day...
Weren't told what time breakfast etc was and where to go. We weren't informed about room service, and staff could have been more helpful.
Staff are excellent, good road links
good location and the rooms were quiet...
the shower curtain was moldy... definately needs to be replaced... also was unable to get room service one evening and was told they were 'too busy'...
Beds werent very comfortable. sometimes we got 2 bath towels, other days only 1. sometimes hot choc and biscuits, sometimes not. had to ask after 6 days to change sheets. beds were made TERRIBLY.Looked like they had been made by a 15 year old BOY.
