Great location in the centre of the city and only a 10 min walk from Manchester Picadilly station. Single room very spacious, though a bit worn. Comfortable bed and spotlessly clean including the ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was a choice of continental or a full english. The staff were helpfull and friendly.
The choice of cold meat at the breakfast could have been better and the plates were about the size of a side plate. But for a budget hotel in the centre I think these are very minor points.
We were in a room overlooking the square and although we couldn't turn the radiators off, it was a quiet, very comfortable room. Thank you
The bed had a great nights sleep and the location was brill
The room could have a little bit clean and the staff could have been friendly - not a single smile
A nice hotel, very well placed for Manchester Piccadilly train station and thecentre of Manchester. Helpful staff (even booked us taxis to and fro as it was freezing!). Very tasty and fresh breakfast too.
Slightly dated interior and quite noisy from outside as in room at front of hotel - no noise reduction/double glazing.
Convenience of getting to main attractions and shopping as well as being close to a train station
The room did not have the main/big lights, only table lamps. Very squicky floor, I was concerned about making too much noise and disturbing occupants below at night time.
