Pros (+) The Midland Hotel is an impressive building in an excellent location. I found the staff invariably professional, courteous and attentive at all times, no matter what their area of expertise. Plenty of available electric...
Cons (-) There could have been better / more lighting in the dressing area in order to take advantage of the full length mirrors. And the air-conditioning controls were a bit fiddly to adjust - a remote control might have been a better option.

Pros (+) Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our teenage son didn't want to join us for breakfast one morning, I therefore asked the breakfast staff If I could take some croissants up to the room for him, of which they were more than happy for us to do.
