The raid was beautiful with detail every where. Very moroccan. The hotel was in the heart of the medina where all the markets are. It's good if you want to be located in the old town where all the action is. The staff were brilliant and helped any way they could, even when I was unfortunate to have a cold, They ordered me food in and gave me some medicine. Very friendly staff. They picked us up from airport and paid for a taxi back. despite the hotel being central it was very peaceful. The bedroom that sleeps four was the best room there. I would recommend that for two couples or two singles.
You have to walk down a slightly dark lane to get to it. But it wouldn't put me off staying there again.
Bada one of the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The building had real history.
The pictures on the website were much nicer and bigger than the actual hotel. The location was right in the heart of the medina which was great but the hotel itself did not live to our expectations.
The room was very well furnished and the location is very central.
The bathroom was very small and the plumbing put form before function ie. it was impossible to have a shower without soaking the entire bathroom.
It was an authentic Riad experience. A very small place tucked safely away but very close to the Spice Market and the main souk and shopping area. Badr and Manu, the staff were always helpful and available. The airport pickup is absolutely necessary and was very much appreciated.
My room was extremely small for two people and dark. The larger rooms would be more suitable. Breakfast was always the same with bread and crepes. Fruits and yogurt should have been offered.
Location of the riad. Proximity to souk and the quiet location. Staff was very, very friendly and helpful.
There was construction going on - dust and noise.
