Cons (-) The housekeeping lady took all my shampoo and conditioner and soap and on top of that didn’t give ms hand towels, just bath towels and tiny washcloth, no hand towels.

Pros (+) The location is great if you just need a place to crash in the CBD or near Southern Cross station (a 5 minute walk down Spencer St). Staff seemed friendly enough. Rooms were well laid out, in a typical budget hotel style.
Cons (-) Falls short, even for a budget hotel. A good, low-price hotel should still have a fresh modern feel, and have working/available amenities. Unfortunately, Atlantis doesn't currently offer this. The air con in our room was "working", but ultimately useless. Lowered the temperature in the room by 1 degree after 10 hours of use, even on maximum cooling setting. Most of the rooms in the hotel face west...

Pros (+) Left luggage kept safe after my stay for 2 days.
Cons (-) While I was meant t have been upgraded into a larger room here was no hot water in the shower and no time to change in a meaningful way as I was only staying one night.

Cons (-) Even though I'd booked a two night stay (in different rooms) and when I checked in at midnight, the night staff told me I could stay in the same room, they kept ringing me the next morning to see what time I was checking out. The cleaning staff almost walked in on me.....good thing I was dressed.
