The location was good and the room was ok, including the bathroom.
Internet did not work in the room, and at some point it didn't work in the lobby either. the breakfast was poor, but i guess this goes with the hotel category. The staff didn't speak any English and thought that's ok. The check-out time was really early - 10:30 am and they insisted on it.

Not really the hotels fault, but when we stayed there were lots of large noisy school groups.

The staff were very good, and especially patient dealing with my very poor Spanish.
The road-side rooms are noisy; 9 de Julio is a busy street, with a tram that seems to run all night. The wireless internet coverage was intermittent, and not available at all in one of the rooms I stayed in.

“The city”
“The location is incredible and with breakfast, it ends up being great value for money.”
“Photographs on the website are deceiving. The hotel is old and the common areas look daggy (carpets) and dirty (skylights). Breakfast was the most disappointing aspect: stale bread, dry cereals, fake cream on cakes, run out of fruit salad, coffee and cake half way through and have to wait for replacements while having a short time to eat, due to tours arranged the day before.”
