The location was very good, relatively quiet area yet close to the most popular spots in South Beach. Also, only few steps to the beach. Two beach chairs and an umbrella are included with the resort fee. The beach was nice, however as it seems to be the case in SoBe, no facilities, no concessions. The poor rating isn't for the hotel. The poor rating is for Travelero - the site that cancelled my booking after Kayak confirmed it.

Pros (+) The location was excellent. It was close to the areas I wanted to visit. The hotel had the art deco charm I was looking for. Check in was really easy, more hotels should adopt this technique.
Cons (-) The walls were paper thin. I heard housekeeping knock on the neighboring doors in the morning. Outside of that, the stay was great.

Cons (-) They made us pay a resort fee per night that was not optional. Unfortunately it rained our entire trip, so we could not use the beach chairs or towels, but I was still charged anyway. ALSO. There is no pool. It is very misleading because it stated there was, but it is not built yet.

Cons (-) Was on floor 3 and could always hear the people moving around upstairs. They didn't clean the bathrooms too well... Let us without toilet paper for a day.
