Not one of the lamps in my room work. If it weren't for the high-hat lights the room would have been completely dark
No rooms left after bookin 2 months ago
Everything no rooms relocated us to 29th. Said they would pay for breakfest ubers never happend. Overall they were try hard purchased a 6 pack of beer for us and the front desk giy not his fault. Also paid for our cab not good enough for how much we spent and where we wanted to ne at. We had plans with friends with walking of the property
Low key luxurious
Friendly staff, comfortable beds.
Amenities: TINY room, missing refrigerator, mold in showers. Only two complimentary beach chairs (we had three guests). Location: Hotel is a little bit of a walk from the South Beach area where the major hotels are. There was also a SHOOTING in the alley outside of the hotel (we heard the gunshots from our room and it was confirmed later on the news). Misc.: We were also NOT told about the $20 per day "resort fee" that we were made to pay upon checking out.
Beware: $20+ resort fee is mandatory
- Good location - Staff seemed nice
- $20 "resort" fee they charge on top of the reservation that you can't opt out of. Plus taxes. - Smallish rooms, but decent furniture - A/C was really, really loud
Everything was great here except the shower and bathroom, which I discussed in my negative comments. Otherwise, the decor, staff, location, etc were awesome. We had a great time here.
The shower was dirty. It had mildew or mold growing in the grout. Also, the bathroom smelled like sewage, which is not necessarily the hotel's fault. Sometimes there is nothing that can be done based on the way the plumbing is set up. The only other time I have experienced this though, was at a hostel in Costa Rica. So it was a bit disappointing.
Fantastic Boutique Value
We had a great stay in this south beach hotel. We had a penthouse unit with our own private balcony with chairs and chaises with a fantasy view. The staff was great the room was very large bright and clean. Overall a great time.
The bar was under renovation so no drinks in lobby but who drinks in the lobby anyways.
This was my 2nd time staying here at the stiles and it was just as good as the first time. Very clean great staff prime location. It easily became our favorite hotel
Close to beach and good eating places. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Breakfast included. Good location in South Beach Miami.
For some reason they didn't tell us, they upgraded our regular room to a suite and the only room in the hotel with a balcony. Plenty of room for the 3 people we had and overall a clean place, with some minor work needed in areas.
The balcony had an outside shower that my one friend accidentally broke by just pulling the chain to turn it on, causing it to dump water out nonstop with no easily accessible or noticeable turn off valve. We let the front desk know and it took them a little bit of time to have someone from maintenance take a look at it. Once he was up, even he was unsure of how to turn it off, attempting to turn several different knobs and valves throughout the room. Eventually, he was able to get the large flow of water down to a drizzle, but at the cost of the water to our room. When we needed to use the bathroom for the toilet, sink, or shower, we had to play with the nozzles ourselves to try and figure out how to turn the water back on to our bathroom while also turning up the volume of water outside too. It's a bit concerning as when we told the front desk they said it "happens all the time" so I am hoping that not only will they still return my security deposit on the room, but will also try and find a better resolution to what sounds to be a recurring problem.
The proximity to the beach was fantastic as was the closeness to shopping/restaurants and Espanola Way. The decor was fun and really captured the feel of the surrounding art deco neighborhood. The staff were also very friendly, warm and welcoming to the hotel.
This was definitely not a 4 star hotel. The building and furniture were old looking and outdated and needed some serious TLC. Looks like they haven't put much work into renovations in quite some time. The sink was cracked, the tile needed a cleaning, there was hair on the bathroom floor, it just didn't feel clean and new. The bed was super creaky and the carpet stained. Definitely not what I would have expected from a hotel with this rating. Maybe 3 stars but definitely not 4 and I could have gotten something much nicer for the same price.
The one thing I noticed upon check in was the kindness of the front desk agent from Boston and all the other staff was on point. I felt extremely welcomed. I'm a local from miami and my boyfriend and I are definitely coming back.
Location, location, location. Room size is satisfactory. Bathroom size - great big shower made for great romantic moments. Maid service was out of the norm. They didn't hassle you daily, or at the moment of checkout. Very considerate, which was appreciative.
Shower or bathroom had a sustaining odor.
The only thing I liked about this hotel was the cleaniliness of the room and the room service. Everything else leaves more to be desired.
I have booked the delux room but it was difficult to see any delux features in the room. It was definitely not the boutique hotel. Three pools looked like three small puddles, were dirty and not cleaned for days. Difficult to park even with the valley parking. No kettle in the room to make morning tea or coffee. Receptionsinst had no info about hotel breakfast how much it costs and etc.
Nice, small hotel; friendly staff; easy access to Ocean Drive and Washington streets; reasonably priced
I had a room on the end, at the back of the hotel. It was very noisy outside, however it was Superbowl weekend.
Good location. Good deal for Miami Beach where most hotels are often not what is advertised. The staff was especially helpful. Thanks to Gala.
Could hear all neighbors and everything in the halls
For the size of the room it was fairly comfortable.
The staff, with the exception of the bar, were very unfriendly.
Great location on Collins close to one of the best beaches in Miami with nicest restaurants.
Hotel facilities FF&E quality do not conform to the declared 4-star hotel level.
nice rooms.good location.perfect price quality.Bath verry poor service.Bath experience with valet parking.they try to charge you chasch and on your room.
valet parking.they are asking casch every day and verry rud.
Fantastic location. Very clean. Good sized bathroom.
Our room was adjacent to the elevator well which was noisy. The hotel's outdoor restaurant put on loud music early in the morning which was very disruptive to a sleep in.
Location was very good. Just one block from the beach. Liked the outdoor pools/jacuzzi. Small but with the beach so close no need for a big swimming pool.
Room was on the small side for the standard you would expect in the US. Bathroom wasn't as clean as we would have liked.
They kindly agreed to take delivery of a few items I'd bought on the interent prior to my arrival.
