Pros (+) Our room was great, very clean and affordable. Sometimes when I get a hotel online it is not what was promised or what I thought. This was everything and more!

Cons (-) Old, antique, run-down, rooms were like old worn bedrooms, kinda creepy, bathrooms not the cleanest, beds and pillows uncomfortable, in desperate need for remodeling. Semi-decent for a cheap one night stay if you're traveling in and out of the city and aren't spending much time there and want something affordable. Staff was friendly and very decent

Pros (+) I'm from the Milwaukee area and have not had an opportunity to visit, let alone stay, at the Astor. Loved the rooms and the location to so many sites. The staff was great. Daniel took care of a little hiccup with refreshing professionalism.
Pros (+) Location, a short walk to Water St & Lakefront, classic beauty & character, not a cookie cutter 'new' hotel.
Cons (-) Replace the outlets, plugs fell out
