Awesome hotel great location
The gentleman at the desk who checked us in was awesome he gave us tourist tips and pointed things out on the map to see. He was amazing!! Very clean great location to tourist sites.
TV didn't work, very small room, staff was hesitant to answer questions.
Great location, great value, great breakfast!
Reception was closed from 12 to 3 pm with nowhere to leave your bags. We are a couple and they put us on a room with two single beds! Even though I had reserved a double room.
The location was perfect, just on the edge of the city centre and set in a quiet side street. The staff were friendly and welcoming and speak excellent English. They also responded well to my very rusty German. The room was nice, and having control of the radiator was important. It was very cold in Munich and turning the heating on made the room very cosy. The bathroom had a heated towel rail. Excellent value for money too. I would stay there again for sure.
Is it just the British that put kettles etc. in their hotel rooms? I had to go to the nearby Agip petrol station for cups of tea at night.
A lot of noise from the outside at night. Young people drinking in front of the hotel.
the location is surely very good - 2 minutes to get to the underground and 7 minutes to get to the marienplatz.
in the evening it was very loud because of the restaurant downstairs.
Very good location, only a short walk from the Old Town, U-Bahn nearby. Good breakfast. Renovated toilet. Two separate rooms for a family, lots of space. Restaurant downstairs.
Worn carpets, unpleasant water saving shower. No parking place.
Booked for a "matrimoniale" room and found a double bed room. Very small room, and not clean. Had to wait long before speaking with the receptionist while she was speaking with her colleague.
Breakfast and the size of the rooms
Would have been nice not to have to pay for the TV
Room is very comfortable.
You must check in on the street around the corner at a hotel under a different name. The actual Tannenbaum hotel entrance is not clearly marked from the street.
In the first day of our stay, the room carpet was dirty. We switched to the other hotel for the remainder of of our stay, and the room was perfect.
Cleanliness of our hotel, friendly Manager and staff were always helpful. It was the second time we stayed here and will be returning in the near future with our friends again.Great location for shopping and sightseeing.
Helpful personnel, a very good breakfast at this price category
It was a bit unpleasant to get a room smelling smoke. At the same time the numerous church bells around the hotel prevented from keeping the window open at night.
