Great location to Bourbon street. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the courtyard with the pool. Loved having a restaurant and bar in the hotel.
Most of the staff were friendly and responsible. Food in restaurant was decent--coffee better than Cafe du Monde! The room was not in tip-top shape ..It could use some freshening.
Good Value Hotel
The location was awesome, we were able to walk to anywhere in the French Quarter with no problem. The security staff were very nice.
I did not like was how the bathroom in our room did not have a proper door. The door was a closet-stlye door with slats. Also, during our stay there was a heavy rainstorm that crippled the hotel staff with flooding in the lobby area and restaurant. We wanted breakfast, but the staff seemed quite flustered and did not want to seat us in the restaurant, even though the rain had ended.
The rooms was charming . Location excellent , large king bed very comfortable, room spacious .
Really nothing, ice on first floor but fine
Location and service
No pool lighting to keep it open later.. It would be nice to use it later
The lobby was very inviting. I loved the courtyard. The location was great.
We arrived at 1030 and had to wait until 1600 for a room to be open. When we were able to go to the room, we noticed it was not very clean. There was trash from the previous occupants laying around the bed. We stayed two nights and on the second day after housekeeping made our beds, they did not leave any new soap or towels and left their cleaning supplies in our bathroom. The first night was quiet, but the second night there were guests yelling and running down our hall at all hours of the night. Id prefer they would have gone back to Bourbon street to do that.
We came to town to celebrate for my birthday and upon check in we were told we were receiving a free upgrade to a mini suite. The room was nice, the staff was helpful. I'd stay here again.
It seemed a theme throughout New Orleans that the entire city is getting a face lift, our hotel included. Didn't ruin my stay or really bug me all that much, but there were people painting right outside our window early in the morning
Attentiveness of Hotel Staff & Manager. Dealt with bug problem very quickly & professionally. Made remainder of stay very enjoyable.
Finding a roach in bathroom.
Felt safe and welcomed- solo traveler
All was well...nothing is perfect. Rate 9 on scale of 1to10 with 10 being the highest
Little over priced
For the money, a great place to stay.
The staff was very attentive. The front desk clerk, Jenn, was very helpful and went that extra mile to ensure we had a plan for our first night in NOLA and found us good bargains for the rest of our time here. The room was large and clean, which should be no surprise. The bed was nice and soft, a perfect way to end a long day of sightseeing. The restaurant was also fun and cuisine and wait staff were fantastic, especially the purple haired server whose name escapes me; she was super helpful and cheery.
The bathroom looked like something you find in a Motel 6. It wasn't terrible, just very basic. But, it did the job. The walls are a little thin, so it seemed like we were part of the party that was happening a few doors down. Parking is very expensive; about $25 a day.
French Quarter Location
Staff was great. Location was excellent. I didn't use the pool myself but Courtyard and pool looked relaxing. Families were enjoying the area.
i have stay there more than a few times and it is convient before saints game day and after. great location to walk to game and back with no hassels and entertainment on burbon great!
great location, very helpful staff
when checkedin, our room had dirty socks under bed
Helpful staff and excellent location
One moody elevator
Location was in the French Quarters only a half block from Bourban Street.
I asked the night desk man if it was ok to leave my car parked in the street next to the hotel (as there were many cars parked there late at night) he said it would be fine as they didn't issue parking tickets after 7pm until the next morning. I was infuriatned when I woke up early the next morning before 7am to find my vehicle was towed away. I had a flight out that morning and thought I had plenty of time only to have to rush to City of New Orleans impound, pay $200 to get the rental car out, and rush to the airport in time for my flight....what a terrible last day in the French Quarters....the night man could have told me that they have Street Cleaning on Tuesdays/East West streets & Thursdays/North South streets...oh yea no signs!
This hotel was very convenient to everything. Bourbon St. was just around the corner, grocery store was down the street, meeting places for "ghost tours" were very near. The staff was very courteous, our room was clean and the Garden was beautiful!
There was some construction going on outside our window (which was not mentioned when booking) that started early every morning and because of that, the entrance to the hotel changed daily. I also didn't think, as a guest, that I should have been charged for parking every day. There should be a price break for guest of the hotel.
Perfect location - right next to Bourbon street and nightlife as well as day excursions. Lovely rooms with Frence influence and courtyard pool. Staff very helpful.
location was excellent for a one night stopover
the rooms and corridors had a musty damp smell
central location , very close to burbon street.Excellent coffee at the cont. breakfast. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff (Gerry).
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My request was granted. I requested the two rooms I booked be as close as possible.
The air condition was not up to par.....
The great balcony view and court yard pool area.
