Not happy with price
The hotel is good
I didn’t like the booking system, and completely disappointed by kayak, why a loyal member’s booking price will be higher than a random booking, I booked on 5/2 by $249+tax, but on 5/18, the price comes down to 169+tax, feel like cheated at all, kayak service sucks
Location/friendly staff
Room is cramped
One of the things that surprises many folks who visit New York City is how large the city is. Unlike many cities in America, traveling from one part of the city to another can take a long time, and that’s why staying in the right location is critical for a journey’s success. If you are looking to stay downtown, there are several options to consider, but a favorite among business and leisure travelers is the Aloft Manhattan Downtown Financial District.
The Aloft Manhattan Downtown Financial District is the perfect place to stay if you have business near Wall Street or other major financial institutions. Leisure travelers will love this location as well because it is located nearby much of New York City’s history, including ferry tours to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. A great feature for many folks is that the hotel is pet friendly, so you can feel free to bring your pooch on a great trip.
Some of the best dining in the world is in Manhattan. There is a gourmet pantry and a lounge in the hotel, but if you’re looking for great food, all you need to do is talk a walk outside. For folks who love a hip food scene, Brooklyn is just across the river, get there by subway or simply talk a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Queens and the Bronx are also a short subway ride away and have some of the best local cuisine in the entire city.
Staying at Aloft Manhattan Downtown Financial District is a great way to enjoy your New York vacation.
