Pros: The rooms are lovely and romantic, so is the private balcony overlooking the Santorini caldera. The swimming pool and the terrace around it are very pictoresque and relaxing, one could spend hours just sitting there and admiring the dramatic scenery of the island from the pool itself. In all, the hotel has a calming aura, it is so pleasant, that one gets reluctant to leave it for too long.

Pros: The family that run the hotel were really nice, as well as helpful. The maisonette we had was charming, especially the upstairs. The stairs are steep, so you have to be careful. The location is perfect, being across the street from the beginning of the promenade.

Pros: We really enjoyed this hotel. It had cooking facilities, and a buffet breakfast was included as well. The value for money was outstanding. It is located across the road from the entrance to the Oia main pedestrian shopping street. What really makes this hotel is that the family who owns and runs it are warm and welcoming people. Fantastic.

Pros: The hotel is located close to the pedestrian area of Oia and from there it is a pleasant walk to see the sunset. The pool area is lovely and all of the rooms have a private terrace, all being on the ground floor. There is free parking and the receptionist is very friendly and helpful. My room was fairly large.

The cave rooms were traditional, yet they included the modern conveniences in a way that didn't seem out of place. The view from the hotel was a postcard at every turn. Pros: View is amazing. Staff was not friendly and our room, a cave room was a bit of a dissapointment but you are paying for the view and it is worth it. Regardless of all the negatives, I would probably recommend the hotel due to the view/location but I think expectations should be managed. I would also recommend looking at other similar hotels for the same price point to see if some offer similar views with better service.

Pros: This hotel has an excellent setting in Oia; well designed and charming. It sits well in the ambience of Oia. A perfect location to see the setting of the sun. The traditional cave houses and the "cave-like" pool too. An unforgettable experience.

Pros: My stay at the Residence Suites was most comfortable and pleasant. I loved the traditional cicladic style of the houses. Caves are furnished simply but elegant and a great part of the comfort is provided by the staff who cant do more to make one happy. Excellent service! The location, most important- in Oia village. Shoots that I took can beat and compete with the post cards, and I am not a professional. The steps everyone talks about make the difference and the charm! Santorini is magnificent and the Greek food its like a good novel.

Oia was by far the prettiest & most enjoyable town in Santorini & short of paying 3 times the price for a hotel overlooking the Caldera you could not find a better place to stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Rooms were well presented and clean. Only gripe is the pool, not as well kept as the rest of the hotel- broken tiles, etc. Other than that I would recommend.

Petros and his wife are very helpful and friendly and they are always available to help and answer questions. If thinking of any tours or outing or even restaurant recommendations...ask them !
