That was my second stay in Golden Playa. I liked it. Hotel got a good atmosphere, you are feeling yourself at home there. Its made for peaceful and relaxed stay. Rooms are quiet and cozy. Food is ok. Staff is friendly. Nice view from most of rooms. Good location.
Hotel may use a renovation, however, I've read they will actually renovate in 2011.

Staff very nice, specially reception. Perfect location on the beach, almost all the rooms with sea view. Located between El Arenal and La Palma (5min. in bus) and 5 min. from airport. The beach is one of the most beautiful ones on the isle, perfect for small children as the water is calm. Nice swimming pool in the hotel, small wellness free.
The food could be better, there is plenty of choice but not really tasty altough it is still eatable. Hotel does not offer any animation programms, some days could result boring - when it is for example cloudy.

This hotel has a good services and staff. Location is good near city Palma, it takes 10 minutes by car and 20 -25 by bus. Room is very clear only remark is that furniture in the room is pretty old

Great location - decor is abit dated but were told the hotel is to undergo a refurb next year.Food was basic but ok. All in all would for sure stay again.

“Food,staff,facilities,cleanliness and room was faultless with fantastic view from the room gorgeous sunset every evening”
“The location was perfect, the A2 bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel. The 23 bus takes you to Fan Shopping Centre, and only 1,50 euros on the bus. The 25 goes to the cathedral. The spa facilities in the hotel were excellent, the food was delicious, the rooms really clean and beds very comfortable.”
