Good location, but unclean
Location was the best part of this hotel--right by the Seine and central to all the big attractions.
The room wasn't properly cleaned, esp the bathroom, and basic amenities weren't included.
Definitely stayed at better places, but overall pl
Blocks away from a vibrant Latin quarter that has it all: lively side by side cafes, open markets, gorgeous boutiques. Walk a few blocks in the other direction and you're on the Seine and bridge carousel. Closest I've stayed to the Louvre!
Don't bother with breakfast. 12 Euro for adults and anyone over a year old. They wanted to charge 8 euro for my 11 month old. What??? She can barely eat a few grams of anything. Our 5th floor family suite had two doors. Why? I think to make getting in and out with a stroller a Houndini act. It was comical.
Charming hotel in a great location
The hotel was charming and was in great shape: newly painted, fresh carpeting, and beautifully decorated. The staff was helpful, beds comfortable and the location was ideal for accessing the St Germain neighborhood.
The wifi was set up to run in 2 hour intervals and frequently I could not log back on, so several trips to the front desk.
Fascinating location in the heart of St. Germain
No warm water in the morning!
the location is great. Saint-German is a wonderfull region to stay in paris. great cafes, restaurants, nice&kind neighborhood residents, very safe zone.... the hotel is in the heart of Saint German. The room and bathroom is clean. The room is not too small and not too big.
the building is old and the noise of the street&next room& elevator are in the room all the time. the furnitures are old.
hotel location and staff
Continental breakfast was fresh and square. The receptionist was obliging and spoke good English (not only French).
Chambermaid worked absently. Hotel is situated in an old building, so the toilete room is narrow, the staircase to the second floor (caracole) is narrow and I did not like it (no lift). In other countries I could have better for this price.
The location is excellent - within easy reach of the Louvre, Tuilleries and Notre Dame, and with many bars and restaurants a few minutes' walk away. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and spoke good English.
The rooms are fairly small, and the shower in the bathroom had no door - so it was impossible to shower without wetting most of the rest of the bathroom in the process.
The Location was great. Walking distance to everything and only 15 Euros to get back to the Nord station.
It was a bit noisey but thats what you get if you are central to everything. They do need a fan or aircon because we couldn't leave the window shut because it got too hot and when we opened it, was a bit noisey. BUT its a great hotel and worth the money and the three of us who stayed there we had a lovely time and would recomend it to anybody!!!
Hotel is very close to Saint Germain Boulevard, and it has very good location
No electronic locks, no safe deposit box in the room, no free shuttle service as advertused on the website and no internet for 25 cents per hour. The internet is available for 1Euro an hour and wireless connection is very poor. If you use hotel computer, it will cost 5 Euro an hour and you can't even use French Keyboard unless you know how to swich from symbols to English letters.
No internet / WiFi
location - St Germain des Pres is great, near many of Paris's destination sites and pleasant to stroll the old streets with their shops and restaurants.
having no elevator for the lower floors is a drawback. room a bit small
No elevator, dirty
