We were upgraded to a room with a spectacular view of the lake.
Ice on the uphill approach to the car park was not treated until mid-afternoon. There was evidence that earlier drivers had great difficulty with the surface.
The setting is wonderful and staff are extremely good; friendly and very helpful without being pushy.
The staff were very customer focussed and professional
Check in took a while. The nice receptionist required some extra help around the check in time
Attractive old world building, spectacular setting, friendly atmosphere, comfortable room, good service
Quiet , nice location, nice staff and uncomplicated
The evening meals were nice but the atmosphere boring
The waiting staff in the restaurant where very attentive. The location and standard of the hotel was excellent.
Reception staff seemed to have very good intentions on the face of it, but where lacking in customer service and experience.
staff were very friendly; hotel was very well managed; food was good quality; excellent value for money
Attention to detail was perfect, as a Gm of a hotel I couldn't expect anymore than I got x x Thanks to you all x
Evacuated early hours in the morning due to a fire, a bit more information to guests stood outside in subzero conditions would have comforted us x
I like the history of the house, friendly and helpful staffs. Fantastic view!! Good breakfast.
The inter connecting door was not sound proofed enough and we heard everything from the adjoining room , especially the loud television
