The warm log burner in the bar. Good beer, nice food and friendly staff. The room was a good size and comfortable
There was no soft seating in the bar and no guest lounge.
The breakfast was very good
The Shower Room was extremely small
Easy to find, good location
Nothing to dislike
Excellant location at the centre of St Just. The staff were friendly and helpful, we stayed with our baby daughter and they were very accomodating. The room was very spacious and suited our needs.
Felt that some aspects of the room were tired and in need of updating, particularly the matress and shower.
A very friendly family run hotel in the centre of the village. The rooms were a bit cramped, but extremely clean. The food was good.
Not suitable for elderly or disabled. The stairs were very steep. The parking was tricky!
The personal friendly service by the owner and his family. Breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed out during our 4 week visit to the UK. The area must be promoted as a destination of choices, proximity to other places eg Penzance, lands ends, St Ives was great for ease of travel. Most of the village environment was everything I desired as a tourist.
The friendly staff and the English country pub atmosphere and of course the country side.
Because our stay was of a very short duration, we relied on public transport / taxis / foot for transport. Not the fault of the Hotel but incomplete info on the web site.
People and location
Friendly staff. Reasonably priced and extensive restaurant menu. Excellent location for West Cornwall.
The parking facilities could be better.
The room was comfortable and roomy, as was the bathroom. The room had a good view at the front of the square and in the bathroom you could see the sea, which was good.
My only complaint would have been at breakfast, would have liked more cold drinks available rather than one small glass of orange juice. At most hotels that we have visited you are able to 'help yourself' to these which I personally find good as I dont drink tea or coffee.
