Great location, helpful staff, quaint rooms- nice beds, updated bathrooms. No complaints!
Wonderful Little Hotel
Great small hotel! The location is superb. Close to Philadelphia's sites, restaurants, and shopping; but a very quiet side street in the heart of the city. The staff was very helpful, considerate, but not overbearing. The white wine reception was a very nice touch.
The only problem was that the room air conditioner was loud.
Walking into the Rittenhouse 1715 A Boutique Hotel is like walking into a piece of history. The excellent location makes it possible for guests to brush up on their American history, as well.
It's all about old-fashioned class at the Rittenhouse 1715. Almost more a bed-and-breakfast than a hotel, the Rittenhouse 1715 is modest in size but lavish in dΘcor, located as it is within a regal, turn-of-the-century building. The combination of intimacy and luxury creates an especially memorable atmosphere. Guests can lounge at the bar, on the terrace, or in the garden, where they can also enjoy a meal.
Located next to a centuries-old park, the Rittenhouse 1715 lies a short ride away from several essential historical sites, such as Congress Hall, Independence Hall, the First Bank of the United States, the Edgar Allan Poe House, and the Liberty Bell. Guests can also leave the hotel and immediately find themselves in an area rife with good shopping and dining, while those traveling on business can easily get to the Center City business district.
Though the charm of this hotel lies in its history, the services are modern and up-to-date. WiFi, flat-screen TVs, an in-room safe, hairdryer, and ironing facilities are made available, while bathrooms come fully equipped with a shower and generously-sized tub. Located on the premises are an outdoor swimming pool and workout space.
With its specific charm, the Rittenhouse 1715 Boutique Hotel is for those who will appreciate an otherworldly, old-world atmosphere.
