Pros (+) The rooms were well appointed. Our daughter and son-in-law enjoyed a gorgeous blue-and-white tiled bathroom as part of their en suite room. Lovely, generous breakfast provided daily. A short walk to the Marquês station afforded access to downtown Porto and the Ribeira. Will definitely stay here again on a return trip to Porto!
Cons (-) We had some trouble with the lock on our door (room 123), which can be a fire hazard; some explicit instructions or training need to be given to guests or—better yet—the lock needs to be changed. We found ourselves locked in the room on more than one occasion, desperately turning the key this way or that and there was no discernible pattern to unlocking the door.
