The proximity to the Old Town Square is fabulous, and just about every major attraction is within 2km. The breakfast is well worth adding into your reservation. You won't find anything better or cheaper nearby. I would attribute any negative responses I see to personal expectations from a decidedly western perspective (elevators are small and steps are the norm for most buildings). Every staff-member was ready to assist, and treated me with respect. Great room, comfortable bed, large clean bathroom, but might get a little warm in the summer (visited in November).
The proximity to the Old Town does bring crowd noise almost all night long. Fourth floor rooms get additional noise from The Terrace, roof-top restaurant. If driving, valet parking is about the only option. Not a bad thing, just be prepared for 40-50 USD per day, plus tip.
Fantastic in every way!! Breakfast was phenomenal! Awesome location, rooms, staff, everything!! Was our favorite lodging during our 2 week train trip around Europe!!
Nothing! It was fantastic!
staff were friendly and great location. the room was spacious then i expected. also breakfast was good and great view from my room.
it has an elevator but you still walk to your room half floor. you should ask somebody to carry your luggage if its too heavy.
The Hotel is is the perfect location, right on the Old Town Square. The Hotel itself is filled with wonderful old world charm and the staff are excellent. The outdoor restaurant on the square and the rooftop restaurant are both excellent and the food was great. A real home away from home.
The hotel was having issues when we were there with a new discotheque which moved in behind the hotel playing load music till 5 am, the staff was wonderful about it but it is an issue the hotel will need to resolve as it was impossible to sleep one evening with all the noise.
Just a magnificent experience. Like sleeping in a museum surrounded by artwork and history. Fine, courteous staff and superp service.
