Pros: I have friends in NYC to visit and can't afford to stay in Manhattan every time I go. We found this hotel through Kayak and after reading the reviews, got a room. The room was really clean, modern, and attractive and the windows must block noise because we could barely hear anything outside. Nice TV, great little convenience store downstairs, and it felt really safe inside. Just a nice place to stay. Price was very reasonable.
Cons: Valet parking is $22 per night, but this is the city and any spot is a premium. Just pay for it and know that your car is safe and won't be towed! We took Ubers and cabs to where we needed to go once we settled in.

Pros: Free parking was a great perk. It's not accessible from the public, as far as I know, so I felt better parking there than on the street. It's not the best area of Queens but I can't fault the hotel for that. Booked this hotel because it was VERY close to Citi Field. It's a short walk or a quick drive away. If the room were cleaner I would have been very happy with it.
Cons: After checking in around 9PM, our room's door was open and there was a housekeeper spraying fabreeze inside. We found hair on the (unfitted and untucked) bottom sheet, stains on the quilt (which I'm still confident was a mattress pad), and the second sheet was on top of the quilt. On top of that there were *quite* visible handprints along the headboard. Wasn't comfortable sleeping in this bed after the state we found it in. There was also mold visible along the frame of a painting in the room. Someone had written ZORRO WAS HERE in sharpie on the wall next to the window... We asked the front desk (who was very helpful and friendly) for new linens and they were changed. Not sure why there was a man spraying down our room at 9PM, and I really didn't want to know why either. Would they still have come in to spray it at night if we checked in at 3PM instead? It wasn't bad enough to make me want to stay somewhere else that night but I won't be booking this hotel again, especially for the price.

Pros: The hotel clerk was very friendly and helpful. Car service to the hotel was on time
Cons: A non smoking room was reserved but it reeked of cigarette smoke. The location felt very unsafe and was there was no street lighting. I will be more careful in my investigation of the hotel's location prior to reserving

Cons: Dried up blood plagued the bathroom along with bits of bloody tissue paper crusted to the floor. It clearly wasn't wiped down or disinfected which leads me to believe nothing was. There conveniently was no manager or anyone with half a brain to make decisions, and when we returned at night the managers response left on a note for us was: "there's nothing we can do if they still choose to stay here". VERY GROSS and awful service

Pros: The Pine is the best! Great food, great prices. This hotel is literally across the street from Citi Field which is why we stayed there.
Cons: The parking lot is a nightmare. Nowhere near large enough for the # of rooms in the hotel. The elevators are painfully slow. The rooms are ok but could use an upgrade.

Pros: The cleanliness of the room and the extra touch of having a piece of chocolate on bed. Bathroom is excellent! Comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: I really hate the extra charge for the parking lot and the fact that it is not easy to locate their address esp. if I didn't have a map on my phone.
