Excellent bar and good range of food
Rooms are small, and little room to work in (the desk being occupied by the coffee tray).
Hotel was clean, hotel room was on the small side, but very well presented, en suit excellent, Staff very good, would recommend this hotel.
Staff great and the position good
Room too small to work in
The central location is excellent and the decor is fabulous. I really pleasant place to stay and the food was great.
Nothing, was so disappointed , I even tried to book a nearby hotel.
The room had inadequate ventilation and was situated above a busy roundabout. It was alos above the service entrance. The staff were unhelpful. There was insufficent parking at the hotel. Despite confirming that there were two guests, there was only towels for one. The room had not been cleaned properly.
Welcoming reception area, nice lounge and bar area with friendly & efficient staff.
Limited Parking on site although there is a public pay car park right next door.
As a solo traveller and first stay at Pangbourne I found "The Elephant" an memorable stay and will definatly invite my family and friends to stay there. The team there really ensured a had a pleasent stay and Paul the Manager was a great host.
Very comfortable, staff extremely pleasant & professional.Great ambiance and nice food in the restaurant.
Very limited parking, lack of a PC for guest use. Although there was wireless internet I had not brought my laptop on holiday but needed to use the internet one day. The receptionist on duty although very pleasant did absolutely nothing to help - couldn't even tell me where I could find a local internet cafe.
An exceptional hotel. Beautiful and quirky interiors, thoughtfully equipped rooms, friendly and helpful staff, outstandingly cooked local food - the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. Overall a better service experience than most 5 star hotels. Highly recommended!
