Cons: I had heard so many great things about Bellmoor Inn from friends, so I was really surprised when we had the opposite experience -- particularly since we were paying so much. When we arrived, the management was really rude. We walked in with our 3 year old son, and it seemed like they weren't too keen on having children at the hotel. I had booked a room for 2 people, and had asked for a cot or rollaway bed for our son. They were incredibly rude and mentioned at least 3-4 times that it's not their policy to provide these things, and that we'd need another room. The manager specifically said they didn't have anything and that we'd have to make it work (which was fine). He also mentioned that the garden rooms were for people without kids so that the other guests wouldn't be disturbed by kids waking up in the "middle of the night and crying." Needless to say, we felt incredibly unwelcome. Also, the management at the spa was rude. I went in for a massage, and the lady did not welcome me in, or offer me anything. For the amount that we paid, I wouldn't have expected this. The room was fine -- nothing over the top. On our second day here, we noticed ants all over the bathroom area!! We ended up closing up all of our toiletry bags, and I used the washcloths to wipe away all the ants I could see. A few hours later when I returned from the beach, they were back! I did the same thing -- wipe down the counters. However, I'm surprised that the cleaning crew didn't see them or try to clean that area? My recommendation -- do not stay here.

Cons: Pretty strict on number of guests and significant fee if there is a cancellation.

Cons: Parking is a bit tight but they do have a side parking lot as well as the one in front. Room had a very slight musty/damp smel.

Cons: The only negative thing was that the pool closed at sunset. My kids like swimming at night while on vacation.

Cons: My girlfriend forgot one of her bikinis that was left in the bathroom and we called th hotel right after we got back home to inform the hotel personnel which was only a few hours after we left and they said they couldn't find it.

Cons: WIFI was TERRIBLE (could access email only for the most part; so slow that it wasn't really possible to view most web sites; often unable to find/maintain connection (once at 3:30am it took 15 minutes to log on)); a bit dated and worn; our balcony was technically "private" but wedged in a corner very close to two other units' balconies so there was not necessarily a lot of actual privacy (but maybe that's what you get when you get discount/Internet rate); refrigerator temperature knob was missing so when everything in fridge froze we had to have someone from maintenance come with plyers to adjust it (on the plus side, he came immediately).

Cons: Our AC was broken but they were happy to fix it. We paid close to $600 for 2 nights. Part of that was due to the holiday weekend, but for that price I think the AC should have been working from the start, and our ocean view which we paid extra for was ground level in front of a fence for the pool. We would open the slider and have tons of kids yelling and lots of random kids coming by the small patio to retrieve diving sticks, a frisbee, or a ball. They did not include conditioner for your hair, it was one of those terrible two in ones. I know personally having beach hair and salt in it, a real conditioner helps. The WIFI is terrible and we could not watch Netflix in the evenings. My phone also had to run on its own data.

Cons: No food. Had to go to end of long hall to get something from vending machine.

Cons: Nothing really important, Wish there was more room in the bathroom and that the pool was heated. Not having these though didn't make the stay bad or inconvenient though just would have been a bonus.

Cons: The refrigerator was on but did not cool . the closet has no door or covering so room & bed had view of closet & ironing board the balcony door did not have screen door so leaving it open allowed bugs to fly in

Cons: Didn't care for having to pay for coffee in the morning in the coffeeshop.

Cons: The mattress in our room was a hard mattress. my back hurt every morning of our trip.

Cons: Traffic getting there was trying, but that is in no part the fault of the hotel!

Cons: You had to walk 3 blocks for breakfast, front counter was not helpful, pay for parking.

Cons: The beds were not the newest but not altogether uncomfortable. The biggest con was the shower - the water temperature fluctuated constantly and became scalding.

Cons: Lots of the offered amenities weren't available because it was September, which was a bummer. We didn't know about that until we got there, as it's not indicated on the website.

Cons: Rooms open out to exterior walkway, felt very exposed and cheap.

Cons: TV was old and hard to control. Toilet seat had a bolt missing. Dirty windows and grimy balcony.

Cons: I did not like the fact that I gave ample notice to cancel our reservations due to my daughter being admitted to the hospital. I did not get my full refund. Very disappointing! Cons: breakfast was all sugar, no eggs or yogurt or fresh fruit. door lock- was hard to open and hard to lock. I mentioned this and was told "they just opened" and that's why.... thought we were getting a room that faced the ocean and it didn't. Entire building needs some updating Parking had tight spaces

Cons: Hotel is dated, parking was cramped in an underground garage, breakfast was all prepackaged foods, although plentiful.
