Right at the Pantheon
- Offered smart phone with free international calling and 4G data at no charge in every room. We used it everywhere because our US cell phones needed WIFI for data which is not always available as you walk around Rome. - People watching and listening to entertainment in the Pantheon's Piazza right below our window from the comfort of our room. - Private transportation to Fiumicino airport for 55Euro (Taxi's were expensive and scary. Uber is illegal in Italy)
- The very same window that offered free entertainment during waking hours was relatively noisy at night due to crowds outside. Sound isolation of the window was very impressive, but nothing can dampen all the noise outside the window. - Hotel's elevator does not go to the ground floor. You have to walk up at least 1 floor before you can use the elevator. Elderly or disabled might reconsider this hotel. - Like all our Italian hotels, no air conditioning was available despite 3 consecutive days at above 70degF/21degC. Central Air was installed by law prohibited use - at least in April when we stayed.
First of all, the location is perfect, in the city center with a view onto the Pantheon. I also liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of our room. The breakfast in piazza Rotonda were also a very pleasant.
Nice hotel in a fantastic location, you can walk to all the major sights, staff were friendly and rooms were clean, great view of the pantheon, would stay there again
Breakfast wasn't great and the room was a bit expensive, but I suppose your paying for location
Nice location, friendly staff
Excellent location for sightseeing, restaurants, bars - would recommend it anytime
Breakfast could have been a better
The Albergo Abruzzi was very central to everything and the breakfast at the cafe in the paizza was welcoming and tasty and it was great to see the people enjoying themselves in the piazza all night
The whole experience was wonderful and Hotel staff even carried our bags to the 1st Floor where the lift started
Everything was OK, the situation is perfect , also To take the breakfeast on the tables of Piazza della Rotonda was very good.
Perhaps the breakfeast could be more varied , more flexible, and Some nights we were disturbed by noise of people from the Piazza.
I very much liked the simple, un-fussy atmosphere, like an old fashioned pensione; the situation was superb, with the Pantheon outside my window. But I thought it was too expensive for what it was - €170 a night is a lot for a very unpretentious place.
Centralized location, Pantheon across the Piazza and Trevi Fountain close by. There were lots of good resturants with friendly staff close by.
The entrance was on the ground floor and you to get to the elevator with your luggage to the first floor you had to traverse a small stairwell and carry your own luggage up to the elevator. Arriving and departing may represent challenges to someone with lots of luggage.
This was a prime location. I couldn't ask for a nicer room and the front desk called and made dinner reservations for us.
The safe was hard to figure out.
