I told them that my curtain wouldn't move. I went out for a few hours and it was fixed when I got back. The location is great; right near the Termini Station, but in a nice neighborhood filled with little trattorias.
As with most hotels in my budget range that I've stayed at in Europe, the pillows were basically flat cardboard stacks. Barely pillows at all. Somehow hostels always manage to have better pillows than value hotels.
I didn't like anything with Cambridge Hotel
We changed our hotel after 2 nights and they charge us for 5 nights. The whole experience was terrible. Don't book Cambridge Hotel
The very best thing about this hotel is its good location.
Nice and friendly staff, were able to communicate in English. Comfortable room.
the location close to all amenities. Friendly and helpful staff.
Small, very clean friendly family managed hotel. Great location!
Clean and comfortable
Had to wait for breakfast as dining room very small
locality ease of travelling from hotel to all parts of rome
the cleanliness of my room
too noisy, we could not sleep the 1st night, peoples were knocking on other romm's doors couples of times between 3-6am, March 30th
I thought the hotel was mostly good value for money. The staff were quite friendly and advised me on places to go, things to see. The room itself was basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also quite reasonable and good quality. For the price I don't think it would be fair to expect more.
Perhaps bare in mind that while located near Termini station, this doesn't mean it is smack bang in the centre of Rome. It takes about 15minutes walking to get to the Forum, Colosseum etc etc. Metro from Termini will get you there much quickly - so not a big problem.
With a stay at Hotel Cambridge, you'll be centrally located in Rome, just a 4-minute walk from Via Marsala and 13 minutes by foot from Via Nazionale. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), a business center, and express check-in.
