The helpfullness, friendleness and consideration of the management and staff. On checking in we were made to feel at home and all queries were dealth with in a friendly and caring manner. the room was clean quiet, comfortable and warm. Central for everything. Booking taxis and giving advice was no problem In general the hotel stay was up to our expectations and would recommend the Montreal

It was very clean and location was convenient as it was right next to the central station.
In other reviews we read that the staff were extremely helpful and courteous- we did not find that this was the case. However, we paid 78 euro and felt that we got what we paid for. In terms of location, there are dozens of hotels in the surrounding area so if you are willing to pay a little extra I am sure your accommodations would improve. Definitely not honeymoon or family hotel. For other Canadian travelers, a 3 star is equivalent to a 2.5 in Europe.
